I'm checking out that Sick Puppies Cherub Rock cover right now. It's pretty different from the original, I'm not too sure if that's a good thing.
The foo fighters cover of Gary Numan's down in the park is good, Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor cover it too and I find that it sounds better with a bite.0 -

Johnny Cash - Hurt....best cover ever
Jordis Unga- Man who sold the world...worth the youtube0 -
John Legend did a "Rollin' in the Deep" cover. It is pure acapella deliciousness.
Also Grum did Toto's "We Can Make it Tonight" but called it "Straight Through the Night." It reeks of 80s synths0 -
Tesla - Signs - although I like the original also.
Also like Every Rose Has It's Thorn sung by Miley Cyrus. Again, also a fan of the original.
And, yes, my musical tastes are pretty much stuck in the 80s.0 -
