chris cornells cover of billie jean.
  • I'm checking out that Sick Puppies Cherub Rock cover right now. It's pretty different from the original, I'm not too sure if that's a good thing.

The foo fighters cover of Gary Numan's down in the park is good, Marilyn Manson and Trent Reznor cover it too and I find that it sounds better with a bite.

That entire Unplugged album was packed with great covers.

Seu Jorge's Bowie covers on the Life Aquatic soundtrack are amazing. Here's a link to "Life on Mars." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6l8zrsf4LY His "Changes" cover is also great.

Also, The Bird and The Bee's cover of "How Deep is Your Love" is one of my all time favorites. It's a beautiful song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opJtIYBgLDg

John Legend did a "Rollin' in the Deep" cover. It is pure acapella deliciousness.

Also Grum did Toto's "We Can Make it Tonight" but called it "Straight Through the Night." It reeks of 80s synths

Tesla - Signs - although I like the original also.

Also like Every Rose Has It's Thorn sung by Miley Cyrus. Again, also a fan of the original.

And, yes, my musical tastes are pretty much stuck in the 80s. :)

I figured someone would appreciate. The great, great thing about music is that it's listener's choice to decide what's "best." :)
