The fitter you are, the less calories you burn doing the same activity at the same intensity for the same time. 'Fitter' means more efficient at exercise. The fatter (heavier) you are, the more calories you will burn doing the same activity, at the same intensity for the same time. Just like if the fit person had to do the…

like! :drinker: <---(mudslides)

Me! I do it when I don't feel like 'exercising'. It's such great fun and I work up a great sweat in just half an hour!

you look fabulous, well done

Every Friday morning, get up, pee, weigh in my undies :blushing:

They're just jealous.:grumble: Post your fitness stuff in here where you KNOW you will be supported.:drinker: I wouldn't be surprised if, in two years, when you make goal and your profile pic looks like that, you'll be getting private messages asking you how you did it, and you can direct them here .:flowerforyou:

It's a tie between and for me

My body is kind of, well, a week behind. If I do everything properly (eat all my cals including exercise cals and exercise) it doesn't show on the scales until the week AFTER. If I do everything wrong (overeat. 'starve' laze about all week) it also doesn't show until the week AFTER. I recommend following MFP…

On a practical note, just 'hide' her from your news feed. She won't know, you won't have to read it all the time, and you can still go into her profile and read what she is up to any time you want. (it's in the top right corner of her latest status update in your news feed)

When I've tried this in the past, I had a friend (we were supposed to be supporting each other) that just sulked every time I had a success. 'Rained on my parade' if you will. Then she stopped exercising and starting overeating because she felt like sh** and blamed it on my success. We aren't friends anymore.

Great NSV!

I used to drink a couple of litres of Coke Zero a day. Stopped in about April (6 months prior to weight loss). I still pick up one every now and again, sometimes out of habit, sometimes for the caffeine, sometimes because I'm sick of water. Doesn't do it for me at all anymore (apart from the caffeine, that still works).

half a pound off? Scales have a margin of error you know. I would weigh at the gym, the Doctors office, the pharmacy, a friends house, anywhere until I got a scale that said the number I was looking for in your case. Maybe your body just really wants to be 136?

A picture says a thousand words. You look fantastic. Healthy AND happy! I am feeling very inspired and motivated, thanks for sharing

I can sweat for 3,4,5 hours after a workout, but not a whole day. As long as you are drinking enough water to make up for it, I wouldn't worry too much. Just your body adjusting to a new routine. I'm in Western Australia and its 40C (104F) here today. Sweating is mandatory!

If they are not noticing now, It'll just make their reaction that much better when they finally do! remember you are doing this for you, not them! (I am one of those people that doesn't say anything even when i notice, cause I don't like it when people notice mine!)

Oh wow!

I love this! I would also add using whichever is fullest as a weight for doing curls in front of the tv...

We'll all get kicked out and start our own club! 'FormerFatties'??

The best and worst part about having Ginormous (G cup) boobs is that it makes the rest of you look 'in proportion'. Great for people not noticing how huge you are, not so good for you realising you have 'let yourself go' too much. I am shrinking now and I'm pretty sure my boobs are too. I've always had bigger boobs, even…

I also wear two bras to workout- thought I was alone with my G twins. Great tip with the deodorant, it's summer here and very sweaty when you go out dancing in a nice dress!

I think EVERY man likes that, and a lot of ladies too. try harder. I love a hairy chest too, and am even quite partial to, dare I say it, a hairy back! (Yay for the relative anonymity of the internet!) My sister pointed out that i tend to go for guys with big noses. I never noticed until she pointed it out, now it's all I…
