You can always drink some more water to flush out and offset the sodium. Don't stop eating, just take note of those things that are a little higher in sodium than you'd like, and limit them or find alternatives. And fruit.

My only suggestion would be to invest in a hotplate to widen your options. You could make soup then.

I would have a small glass of wine, a square of really good chocolate, do a little workout (jumping jacks in your room or something), read a book and have a nap. Based on the previous posters answers. Shame you didn't get the job. Maybe there is a better one around the corner?

I agree. Use one you can only get at once a week - at the shops, pharmacy, friend, family or neighbours house. But use the sme one every time! Scales vary...
