A boiled egg. Eat it before your stomach starts eating itself in hunger. Keep it in the fridge at work, eat it on the way to daycare?

Swimming is the best exercise ever for your back! I went to a one off session at a chiropractor and he showed me some exercises to strengthen my lower back, which I do in bed before I've even gotten up! Very easy and takes only a few minutes :)

Love it! Now you just need to search the forums and blogs for a suitable reward idea!

I just don't keep them in the house. The cravings go away eventually.:ohwell:

Great work! I measured when I started (6 weeks ago maybe) but I haven't been brave enough to measure since, in case it's not as good a result as I hope, but I might now!

In my experience, everyone is concentrating so hard on not looking the fool, they aren't paying any attention at all to anyone else. free ride! and for $19 (sorry I don't have a 'pounds' key!) what have you got to lose!

This is the best kind of NSV. Most of us actually want to lose SIZE, but we measure our weight? That's like trying to measure out a metre of water.
-
Maybe you are losing it from somewhere you're not measuring? I dunno.

Very awesome! What's your new goal? Another 10 by Christmas?

oops sorry! make that 5 Clever cookie points!

That's four 'Clever Cookie' points to you!

Is this the reason why regular gym junkies have a protein bar/gel/shake straight after a workout? Protein helps you feel full, so maybe plan to have an egg or some nuts post workout?

You can replace half the oil in a recipe for muffins (never tried with cakes) for 1.5 times the amount of greek yoghurt. A bit trickier to work out, but worth it! I do this with my morning glory muffins, which is something I make a lot, so I just wrote in the new measurements/ingredients. The recipe calls for 1 cup of oil,…

I found a great tip that said when making muffins, you can replace half the oil in the recipe with 1.5 times as much greek yoghurt. Can be a bit tricky to work out the first time, but I write it in pencil in the recipe so I don't have to do it every time. As an example, a colleague gave me a recipe for Morning Glory…

That's what I do.

Another is to listen to talk-back radio while doing the gardening, so busy yelling at stoopid people (and the infinite number of weeds always in my garden), that I don't notice how hard I'm working until I come inside or sweat rolls down into my eye

I do Zumba and hip hop dancing- I'm so distracted by trying to learn and remember the steps/not fall over and make a fool of myself, I can't afford to get distracted

Sounds similar to a soup diet I did once. Not really a healthy lifestyle. It probably won't do you any harm, but it probably won't do you any long term good either. Just my two cents.

Waldorf red apple, green apple, celery, walnuts and a low fat creamy dressing (ranch or coleslaw are good)

I think the reason you are getting different and conflicting answers is because there is no 'one size fits all' program that works for everyone. It's only been 11 days, give it a chance. You mention you always eat the same thing every day and I wonder if your exercise regimen is stagnant too? Maybe try playing around with…

Yay! Everyone loves swinging!

Bio-oil, Palmers cocoa butter or Nutrimetics Nutri-rich oil. Use twice daily, they won'y cure them completely but they will help. Might take months or years. until then, wear your stretch marks with pride!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I'm probably not the only MFPer who hates having their photo taken, so they are very few photos of me! I had one of me at my sisters recent "Eighties wedding zombie" hens night, but then I found this cartoon and I thought, "Hey! that would make a great pic/tagline!"

2 teaspoons of zero calorie sweetener a day will not have an effect on anything except your enjoyment of your tea and oatmeal. Everything in moderation. Some people argue artificial sweeteners cause all sorts of horrific things (one of my friends looks at me in horror EVERY time I put sweetener in my tea) but such a small…

snacks you can freeze, then you can grab them on the way out the door and by the time you need them they'll be defrosted. I like small bunches of grapes and morning glory muffins :flowerforyou:
