Late to the party, but none the less I am riding. All rides are done now indoors on bike set on trainer. I use TrainerRoad and have logged 92.4 miles. I ride everyday except Sunday's 30 to 45 mins.

This week its like suddenly people notice I have lost weight. I am now down 30 :)

I am a home type person. For me it is easier to get up and walk to the basement, workout then go to work. It eliminates excuses for me and cuts out the time back and forth to the gym. I have done both, but for me most consistent at home.

Had to dig deeper into my closet for smaller pants and a smaller belt :)

New Hampshire! Hello

Pulled out winter coat and looks like a trashbag on me!

Look at Jefit, (www.jefit.com) I use it and there are a ton of workouts for every level. I think it has helped me quite a bit.

Wow. Great work! Congratulations you look great!

I had the same issues and take COQ-10 to help with the joint pain and muscle weakness. I was able to lower my medication of Crestor to 5mg M, W, and F. I don't take it any other day. That followed with Red Rice Yeast and Fish Oil and Weight Loss and exercise have brought me down from Mid 300's to 165.

I use Nutribiotic Rice Protein. (Chocolate) This is per two heaping tablespoons....(120 Cal, 4 carb, 24 Protein, 2g sugar). Very light flavor that many don't like, but It doesn't upset my stomach like whey.

Ground Turkey for me. Supplement with Rice Protein Powder

I am in a similar position, used to lift when younger and in better shape and stopped and ate for many years. I started again and have been doing StrongLifts 5X5 and I really like it. Forced me to not try to start where my mind left off and I have seen great improvements in strength. Once I have that base I will move into…

The best advice I could give is go to a couple bike shops and ride different bikes. From there research the bikes you feel most comfortable on. If you are not comfortable you will not ride. I have a TREK Domaine and love it.

I weigh myself everyday and it automatically connects and updates with MFP (Withings Scale). I like to see the daily changes and it allows me to see when I am slacking off and allows to make changes quicker.

Thank you Hermann.... I have been to a few shops and it seems like cross country skiis are an after thought and finding anyone with real knowledge is hard.....at least in my very local area. The focus seems to be on downhill. OR, I could just be overthinking it.

Piece of cake. You can do this!

Hi and welcome! I have been on the journey since October. Struggled with weight all my life and have lost the same 70 pounds three times. Working with nutritionist, Doctor and MFP. Down about 40. Great people here ready and willing to support..

Being Italian and LOVING pasta I made the switch to Spaghetti Squash or zucchini with qut into Noodles. It fixes my cravings for Pasta and Gravy.

Lots of advise on small changes. Have to agree 1000% there. I the hardest think is the first step and when I looked out too far I would become discouraged, scared and revert to my comfort. I changed my goal to achieving positive change TODAY. If I didn't achieve it TODAY, I would try again tomorrow. The changes add up and…

Yup! I am a drink about every day. Usually Vodka, but when calories are tight switch to Wine or a beer, like Select 55 (55 cals). I just log it and stay within my macros and calories.....as best as I can. If I go over, I'll do better next time. As long as I am loosing.

Your not alone. I fight my mind every workout. It is usually until my body warms up and my mind realizes that what we are doing isn't bad. The very first part of my workouts, like the first 10 mins or so are the hardest for me
-
I don't have that model but I have one similar that was abound the same price. I like mine, use it 2 to 3 times a week and it's a good workout. Nothing like riding the road through...for me it is more about a high cadence because I can't get much resistance.

Congratulations on all your hard work and dedication. You look amazing!
