Hi, I would recommend the C25K running program, it gradually builds you up from beginner at week 1, to running 30mins non stop on week 9. It's a combination of walk then run then back to walking again. I'm on week 3 now and it's really helped.

Definately start with the C25K. I'm currently on Week 3 and it's been great training for me. I've never been a runner but this is building up you up at a steady pace which is fantastic.

That's amazing. I'm also a coca cola addict, was drinking a 2litre bottle a day from aged 16, but have cut right down and seen drastic improvement. I tried cutting it out completly but I had major withdrawl symptoms so have slowly cut it right down. You are an inspiration that it can be done. Thank you

I just started Week 3 of the C25K this morning and never thought I would get this far. My first week I found it so difficult and my whole body hurt. I couldn't even run for a bus without feeling like i was going to die. But now although it's getting more difficult each week, I am finding my strengh and stamina has improved…

I'm on week 3 of the C25K and log the running and walking seperately on mine. Don't know if there's another way to do it.

Hi Michelle, I have around 22lbs to go also and understand what you mean about friends and family who are not struggling with their weight. Mine seem to be able to eat anything they want and not put any weight on. Feel free to add me as a friend, we can keep each other motivated and get to our goal weight.

I could have wrote your post as that is exactly me. I have Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King and endless other takeaways within ten minutes of my house and am always so tempted whenever I leave my house. Hi, I'm currently living and working in Central London but am from Milton Keynes also, where all my family live. It's good to know someone else from there. Sent a friend request, friends to support each other are the motivation we need. Currently weigh 160lbs would love to be 125-130lbs like many years ago.

How about pole dancing classes? My friends and I tried it for the first time at the weekend and it was fun. We are definately going back! Its not how you expect it to be and a great workout.
