  • ****UPDATE**** I did it! Haha. Frozen sockeye salmon fillets from Target. Easy peasy. Soak in water 30 minutes then follow instructions on the package. I broiled the fish for about 10 minutes. Voila. I will be cooking more fish from now on. 1 fillet is only 60 calories. Delicious!

  • Did I say I had a DAILY TDEE OF 3600? No. 2600 maybe. 1200 was exercise calories for that one day. I never said I burn 1200 calories daily with workouts. If that were true I wouldn't be on here right now talking to you :-)
  • Lol. Maybe you could read my responses and see why. PS I Have lost 20 pounds in the last year. Im only seeing results go up and down for a few months. And every time I up workouts. Its pretty simple.
  • Keep in mind Im over 200 pounds...so i wouldnt burn the same amount as a 100 pound test subject...heart rate increase is what literally creates energy which is measured in calories. It has nothing to do with a hot room.
  • You might want to read up on hr monitors and accuracy. As far as im concerned theyre accurate...theres no need to split hairs anyway I dont eat my exercise cals back. The day it logged 1200 exercise calories was a 6 mile hike with 900 ft elevation gain. 3 hours. Carrying 40 pound pack. So yeah...
  • HOT YOGA burns 600-900 calories per hour. These are intense workouts. I live in colorado. They dont play around with yoga...
  • Found this interesting.. and i look like the 30% girl but shes the hottest one so its cool ;) You have a waist to hip ratio of 0.71. The information you entered: Sex = Female, waist = 32 inches and hip = 45 inches. Your shape puts you at reduced risk of coronary heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Frequently referred to as…
  • The picture doesn't adjust for height.
  • The reason I said 25% was before I had my baby I saw a trainer and he took skin pinch calibrations. I am 6 pounds heavier than I was then and in similar condition. He measured me at 22% fat so I guess im about 25% now. I am going to look around to see who can measure me again for free...
  • Yes! What I say is true!!! Haha These forums are rough... I DO workout heavy at times...that one day included a 3 mile walk to a park. 65 minute hot yoga class level 2...then caring for a 2 yo...it adds up. I am very strong. I work hard. And im big. Blood pressure nearly perfect. Heart rate resting bt 48 and 52. Aside from…
  • Was there a guide? How about body comp? Im extremely muscular. My lowest weight in peak physical condition was 199.
  • It doesnt calculate anything. It is heart rate monitor.
  • FYI...I HAVE been logging consistently for the past few months. This last few weeks has been hectic so yes I havent been. I had over 220 day streai before that. Nothing has changed. Workouts same. Food same. I jist havent logged in on mfp. As for Fitbit being inaccurate. .is there proof of this? I used adidas mycoach chest…
  • 1) I opened my diary to public. 2) im not logging exercises at all I use fitbit hr which tells me calories burned based on my heart rate. According to everything this is the most accurate way to measure cals in vs out 3) I Do Not eat back exercise cals. I eat when Im hungry if I had a big workout 4) I consistently eat at…
  • Yes I have open diary I think. I havent logged consistently in a few weeks with birthdays and vacations. Im starting back today. Its the same thing as always...I stop exercising excessively it goes back down...eating stays exactly the same.
  • No actually I am burning way more than I eat. How do you know what my fat % is? Man if you can do that over a computer without even taking my measurements you must be super psychic.
  • Dang...just checked...Serena Williams is 5'9" and weighs 155...Im like a super chunky serena. :(
  • Thanks I used to measure regularly but stopped because even measurements were going up...but I'll take a look.
  • No...i started at 228...got to 208...then back and forth from 206 to 213 for several months.
  • Definitely weigh less. Ive never been able to know what my true goal weight is. I should compare myself to a Williams sister. Im definitely more of an athletc build. Im 5'7" - female - 206 pounds (now 213). According to everything this is obese. I dont know my body fat percentage but I guess it's around 25% (feel free to…
  • It isn't like I never workout...ive been staying steady for over a year. Some setbacks here and there... I lost about 20 in first year. Then bouncing up and down 10 lbs give or take for about 6 months. I upped my workouts once a month for past 3 months....and havent gone past my lowest weight. I don't know whats going on.…
  • How long does it take to go away? If I keep workouts like they are - wont I always be full of fluid? Does it ever go back down?
  • That is what ive read and heard....however I notice it never goes down unless I stop the workouts. ..maybe there is some supplement I can take? Should I try a diuretic? Cut back on sodium?
  • Also congrats to those who reach 15k around the house...I only get about 5-6k around the house and I am a stay at home mom to 2 year old and live in a trilevel.
  • NEW QUESTION: Since I started aiming to hit 10k everyday I have stopped losing weight. I track my calories and wear fitbit 24 hours a day. Everything says I am under budget or slightly over by 100 calories or so. I always find that when I exercise more I stop losing weight. I know the story...exercise to tone and build…
  • Lol..hey marching in place does get hard after a few minutes!
  • Haha. I tried this too...the internet (livestrong) says walking in place Does count as exercise. Some woman hasba workout video of just this I also saw...lol kind of a dumb video ddon't you think? You have to walk fast (enough) to get your heart rate up. ..
