I'm now down 27 pounds and I'm 10 days pp, but I think that's all my water weight lost, which means I have 30 pounds of good solid flab to lose ;-) grrrrr to all those burgers ans chips I ate throughout!! It's going to be so difficult not to get impatient with it, especially after such a hefty weight loss in my first 2…

I lost 17 pounds just 24hrs after my baby boy was born, but he weighed a whopping 10pounds!! Im currently 3 days pp and haven't list anymore yet but my milk has just come in and my uterus is still a very impressive pouch! I'm hoping that over the next 2 weeks I will lose another 7 pounds, but then I think the remaining…

my MIL really doesn't agree to the fact that I work, and that I hope to work again once this little fella is here. My little girl is absolutely thriving in nursery (kindergarden) and I love my work and the challenges it brings. I believe I have a very good work life balance and a strong relationship with my daughter and my…

I am still very very pregnant :-( But I do still have 2 weeks left :-( and i don't feel anything is about to happen anytime soon. Roll on end of December and then we will all have our babies, me included :-)

THIS WORKS I PROMISE!! Grind up 1-2 tablespoons of linseed (also known as flax or flaxseed) and add to whatever you are eating. Drink an extra glass of water when you are eating them (the water helps the seeds swell in the intestines which then acts as roughage. IMPORTANT!!! This is a natural laxative so work your way up…

36.5 weeks and 56 pounds up......sigh :-( I gained 45 with my first (lost all of that plus an extra 15...looks like I'm going to exceed that with this one!! ) I'll very much be back to square one!!! I'm so ready to start seeing the pounds go the opposite way now!! I know he will be worth it, but boy am I ready!!

with my first I had a ton of BH contractions. They were a tight band that formed right across my belly, very similar to the tightness felt whilst blood pressure is taken, (except the tightness is around the belly, not the arm!) Mine were never painful, but often made me catch my breath and I had to stop what I was doing.…

I drank this with my first and my labor was 36 hours, so I don't believe it necessarily reduces labor time. However I didn't tear at all (only grazed) and I have birth to a 9.2 pounder! so I do believe there is something in it. It's to do with all the vitamins and minerals in it. I also drank it after giving birth and my…

I've read that diarrhoea can be an early labor sign. i lost my mucus plug in the day then that night i woke through thenight thinking something was a bit strange and came downstairs, no sooner was i downstairs and just sat on the sofa and my waters broke (big gush!) i went to the loo and there was a pop and a second gush!…

thankyou all for your kind reassuring words. The main reason for my concern is that my first got stuck (however with a little intervention she did come out and i didn't even tear!!) i like the thought of my bump being full of fluid, though he does feel quite sizable from his movements! it's reassuring to hear that some of…

Thankyou ladies :-) I had put on 14 pounds by week 12, but eating was the only thing that stopped me from feeling sick! I'm easily up 2 dress sizes but I was tiny pre-pregnancy (119 pounds and 5ft 6, i was a UK size 8 and think I'm now a 12) but my first weighed 9.2 pounds so think my body naturally prepared me for a big…

Hi all, I'm 13 weeks and have gained 14pounds already, but that still puts me at a healthy BMI so I'm not too worried. And I'm now the weight that I was at the start of my first pregnancy. With my first I gained about 45 pounds...but my little girl weighed 9.2 pounds! So I lost a lot of weight pretty quickly after I had…
