Well done on your loss :-) I fully agree! At first I was so cautious about MFP and was scared to eat back my exercise calls, but then after a leap of faith I now eat back almost all of my exercise cals and have still been losing! In fact I now just make sure my net cals are somewhere between my goal intake and below my…

Yum yum! So what time should I come round for dinner ;-) Enjoy!

Yum yum :-) I've got some free venison coming my way too next week :-D I marinade mine in a little gin, Worcester sauce, olive oil, an onion (quartered) garlic and star anise then grill it till its medium rare and serve with homemade apple sauce (which is also cooked with a little gin)....this makes for some of the best…

We count corn as one of your five a day in the UK, funny how different countries have different things, in Australia its recommended to eat 7 a day! And in Japan I think it's WAY more than that!
-
It's a double veg as it has milk in and cows eat grass, grass is green therefore gotta be good for you right? You could have triple whammy if you make it a fruit and nut ;-)
-
Erm my first one is to be patient and not hog somebody else's challenge day!!! Lol what a numpty I am!! Will post my other mini challenges later! Great challenge :-)
-
Lol Sorry everyone! I totally messed up with the challenges! And tried hogging someone else's day!! I think I need to get some sleep!! Hopefully if I start to eat fruit and veg my memory will improve!!

They really should check out the safety on that thing ;-) over this weekend I have put 4lbs on (eeeek!!) my hubby goes away this weekend for 5 months (he's in the military) so we had a mini Christmas this weekend, and I ate and ate and ate!! But today IS a new day, and a…

Hi, Sorry to hear you've had a tough week and a half. You may have gained a few pounds, but this certainly doesn't put you back to square one! The fact that you have posted on here shows that you do still care and have motivation. You've come so far in those 7 months and you can certainly do it again. Something that has…

This is a great challenge! Meghan: 1 stone is 14lbs it is indeed a UK term and your not being dumb at all! Many UK residents do not know this! I'm with SweetPea! I also like the shock factor and it does help to keep me motivated! My recent motivation was seeing nice dresses and tops in shops, and telling myself I could…

I like to roast the following veg: celery, mushrooms, courgette (zucchini) onion, Abergine (egg plant), & peppers (capsicums). Chop all up into chunks, spray with one cal oil, add mixed herbs and roast (I'm afraid I'm not sure on the timings for this as I guesstimate all my cooking! But propably for about 30 mins at 190 I…

That is fantastic! Keep up all the hard work, remember MFP only helps some of the way, it's you that does all the hard bits so well done!
-
Keep up the hard work everyone! I've manage an hours walk today (about 3 miles) and I'm hoping to do another mile this evening (very active dogs help here!) then might get some Zumba in, just to make sure my feet are on the move :-) Well done to everyone and keep it all up :-)

NEW MINI CHALLENGE POSTED!! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/369792--closed-october-shredders-mini-challenge-17-10-11

One of my biggest tips is to get a pedometer, this allows you to see how many steps you are doing. So you can set yourself mini challenges: do 1000 more steps today than yesterday etc! Also I find that when I'm wearing one, I try even harder to get as many steps in through the day as possible. They are pretty cheap to use…

A sign that I've become more toned...caught my hubby staring non stop at my butt during a workout! Made me wanna work out all the more!
-
I'm 5' 5.5" (small frame) and goal weight is 119, though I'm reviewing this on a regular basis as now my main aim is to tone up. My goal was to reach UK size 8, which I've just recently achieved :-) so I may just stay at my current weight

Eeeeek! This sounds tough! Will be doing this one later, I'm still recovering from L2D1 of the shred!
-
Love this! I take honey and lemon if I'm feeling under the weather and it always makes me feel better. I also make my own anti-bacterial sprays for the kitchen with cinnamon essential oil and water (I also add peppermint, clove, eycalyptus and lemon) but I had read that cinnamon oil will kill most bacteria.

Apparently these are 82 cals per serving and 0g of fat, yes that does say 0g!!! Think I'll be making these!!! http://vegetarian.about.com/od/desertrecipes/r/fatfreebrownies.htm

Btw Amber: I love the sound of your foot balm! Actually thinking about it, I may give myself a foot spa and make a nice foot lotion with some essential oils, get the candles on and put a movie on! After I've done the shred of course!! Thankyou for the inspiration :-)
-
So glad your all loving this challenge, we all deserve the pampering! I've not decided mine yet, I think I might do my nails and have a nice long soak in the bath!! Happy relaxing / pampering day :-)
-
I weigh myself everyday, for me it helps me understand my body. I don't stress about the fluctuations, it's more for curiosity; I can put on 7lbs during TOM (yes, really!) And I also know that if I'm not careful I can put on 1lb a day, and keep it, likewise if I don't eat enough I can lose 1lb a day. I know this, as…
