Hi, I am a health professional, and I would also urge you to reconsider your goal weight. Your current weight is well within a healthy BMI range, but your goal weight would put you well into the 'underweight' category. I am 5' 5.5" and weighed 125lbs 10 days ago, which put me at a UK 8-10 (female sizes obviously), for a…

MegSommer: our stories are very similar! My weight had previously always fluctuated between 130-144, and everytime I got to the 144 point I would wake one morning, look in the mirror and think..."how did that happen?!" Then I would basically starve myself back to 130, until one day I would just binge and binge and binge…

Best of luck everyone starting L2 tomorrow! I'll see you there in a couple of days time! Managed L1D8 today and my back feels a bit sore, but hopefully it's just achy rather than injured! I really put everything into today, I just hope it wasn't too much! I look forward to hearing all about L2, kind of but not really! I'm…

Well done Meghan on your inches lost, that does sound about right! I lost 4.5 inches overall and I missed a few days! So 7 inches is entirely possible! Plus you've not been well! I managed day 8 today....with 14 push ups!!!! And 40secs on my planks which I did 3 times :-D feeling very chuffed but my back is hurting me now!…

Good challenge! I'll be getting on with these shortly! Need to get my bum and thighs shaped up so this will help! Will hopefully report back shortly!
-
I'm soon to do day 8! I'm so tired! I progressed from chickpeas to proper weights yesterday! And boy my back was feeling it last night! I'm not sure I'll be ready for L2 on Wednesday! Good luck to everyone who is just about to embark on it! I'll be there soon!
-
I have to confess!! Skipped yesterday shred due to feeling so hungover! And binged yesterday to keep my hangover happy! Didn't even record in my diary...dred to think how many calories I consumed!! My 2 day binge has made me put 3lbs on!!!!!!!! Grrrrr! Will be doing day 7 shortly and will be resetting my goals to loose…

That's still great mimi! These are not easy! But like all exercise, practice makes you stronger and better. I managed 24 seconds yesterday so I too need to practice! Well done!
-
For someone who is Feeling slightly hungover today, this challenge is exactly what I need! Thankyou! I find my water intake varies a lot, some days I will drink loads all day and other days barely anything! So this challenge is a great reminder that I should be drinking this much EVERY day! Now where's my water, I have gin…

Wow everyone well done! These are not easy and all your times are fantastic!! you've all given those transverse abs a great workout! I find these are working my abs so much quicker than Jillians crunches and sit ups. Although yesterday I was totally rubbish at them! So hoping today is better! Apparently even just doing one…
-
You can all do it :) although I'm really struggling with it today and can't get passed 15 secs!!! Stupid challenge ;-) Good luck peeps and stay strong! Ps Danielle, yeah I shake so hard too!! And punch the floor in an attempt to keep me there longer!! Which doesn't work!!

Goooooooood Morning October Shredders!!!! So day 2 of our mini challenges! (please dont hate me!) As some of you may know, my abs split during pregnancy, and though i had managed to close the gap quite a lot, my recent bout of sit ups and crunches were making the gap much larger. So i am now doing planks to replace all of…
-
Just bumping this so it's in my topics  Thankyou btw! I'm just about to start doing planks as my abs split through pregnancy and though my tummy is flatish, crunches and sit ups are re-increasing my split! Hopefully these should help keep the thing closed!
-
Get in! I just managed 35 modified! I'm 30 so that puts me in the 'good range!' great challenge! Amber: that's very impressive that you managed full push ups!!I reckon 1 full is the same as 2 modified? Maybe more! But you can't go too far wrong doubling your figure!
-
Ps I would also like to point out that I gained nearly 2 stone with my pregnancy (3 if you include the baby and her fluids!!)
-
I was a UK size 10-12 before I fell pregnant. I am now a size 8-10....my 17month old helps keep me on my toes! My shape is definitely different and my abs were split through pregnancy so I have a bit of loose skin on my tummy, don't think that will ever go, but it really can be done! Keep up all the hard work!
-
Well done you!! That is awesome news!!!:drinker:
-
Edit: double post!
-
Does this mean we can never do crunches etc? I honestly thought my abs were as back to normal as they were going to get! But the hole is definitely bigger now that I've started 30Ds! Grrrr and I was really enjoying all the exercises including the crunches and sit ups!!
-
Thankyou ladies! I shall check out those alternative exercises!
-
A few NSV's for a wednesday :-) bear with my moan first!! Ok, so I am feeling pretty darn crappy today!! I mean, I had food poisoning at the weekend, my mum was admitted to hospital on Monday after shortness of breath, tight chest and abnormal ECG (she's ok now and further results gave the all clear), my hubby is off to…

Persistenttiger: I envy your food diary! That is very healthy! I really should eat more grilled chicken and veg...and asparagus! I've missed so much!! Will be using your diary for inspiration!
-
I mean once I catch back up with life!! Lol!
-
Thanks  Lol I just had a look back through mine and actually I don't think there's many good days! There seem to be a lot of days where I don't seem to eat much!! And on one day I noticed I totally missed off pasta with the sauce lol! I'm still a newbie so still learning! Favs in our household are salmon (marinade…

I like to think I eat fairly well, but since filling in my diary I have realised it's not all that great! My evening meals were way more substantial before my wee tot! Am trying to improve on that though so please feel free to peek, and I am also interested in ideas! Please note, on Sunday I only had a slice of…
