Assume you are only burning half the calories the MFP calculators give you, stop eating back all of them. Do you weigh your food?

Loads, all over my thighs and stomach and hips and boobs - but they do fade eventually.

I wouldn't call them both babies, the oldest is 6 years old (almost 7!). But the smaller is 9 months and still wakes up constantly all night. I wish I could do weight training, but as it is I work through all my breaks so that I can leave early enough to get home and see my kids and relieve my husband who is a SAHD, do…

Your Basal Metabolic Rate is: 1404 calories. Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure Is: 1931 calories About what I expected.

You can add it as a food, just search for "breastfeeding" and it calculates it as negative calories (as it burns a specific proportion of macros as opposed to just calories). I think the average is 500 per day for feeding exclusively. It works out to roughly 70 calories per 100 mls.(7.4g carb/4.2g fat/1.3g protein).

Not true at all. I have found it quite sustainable and am enjoying changing my food intake and focusing on choosing healthy options and giving myself variety. But I'm doing this for two reasons - to teach myself healthy habits for a lifetime, and to lose weight - the weight loss isn't just a pleasant side effect for me of…

I weigh every morning but I only take my "official" weight once a week. I'm not down about the lack of drop each day at all, I just find it useful for trends as I can see it reflected the next day especially if I have had too much sodium the previous day. From everything I have read it's not the crime of the century to…

Thanks - I figured if for some reason I am underestimating my calories or portions then it would be quite minor since I do weigh as much as I possibly can, so it shouldn't put me anywhere near my TDEE. I try to overestimate where possible and I'm completely honest about everything I consume and log everything bar sugarfree…

I'm 5'2" - 5'3", so my UGW is 54kg, which would put me square into having a normal BMI.

No, I'm a month in. I'm not expecting miracles or to lose 1 kg a week, or even to lose half of that, but I thought surely I would see more progress after losing the water weight?

I'd love to know the same... thanks to a 9 month old who is a terrible sleeper I get maybe 6 hours a night and get woken anywhere from 2 to 8 times in that 6 hours and my weight loss has stalled after losing water weight initially :( I do wonder how much sleep has to do with it.

I add chopped hard boiled egg to mine, as well as feta, pine nuts, sunflower seeds and avocado.

Photo from when I lost the weight the first time around, 5 years PP after a c-section and 30kg (66lb) weight gain during pregnancy. I had an overhang but managed to get rid of it. http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/61672_10151254039312593_2046832905_n.jpg I'm back to the same place unfortunately after pregnancy…

Depending on the type of pasta, 8oz dry would translate to 500-550 calories.
