This is my third time on MFP. Each time I've dropped 10-25lbs, maintained for a few uears, then gained some weight. Each time I get back on MFP, I have to readjust to eating an appropriate amount of calories. AKA: for the first couple weeks, I'm just hungry a lot. There's nothing to it but to get over it. I know I'm eating…

Yoga has really helped me with my depression. Yes, the physical movement (I LOVE stretching) but also the way it calms my mind. The more I do it, the more it affects my life & thinking process off the mat as well.

Sounds like something you should talk to a dermatologist about. Could be some sort of condition that is aggravated by exercise. But I've never experienced or heard of anything like this being caused by exercise.

When I did C25K I found Nike Run to be much more accurate than MapMyRun. Map my run often said I was running 14mph, and I KNOW I never get even close to that fast! Nike Run costs money, but I felt that the couple bucks was worth it.

All of the previous advice is on point. Buy high waisted pants in the correct size. Then eat at a calorie deficit to lose fat. If you really want to be an overachiever, lift weights so that when the fat melts away you have some firm muscles underneath.

Exact weight & how long it takes to go away depends on a lot of factors. But 2lbs is not abnormal, considering the info that you've shared. As long as you know your calorie logging is on point, don't worry about it. It comes off when it comes off. Weight loss is not linear.

I just finished week 10 of the Strong Curves Beginner program. I've always gone 2 days a week & I can tell a HUGE difference in my body shape. I look completely different proportionally than other times that I've been at the weight I am now. Since January I've lost a total of 4.5 inches off my love handles & 2.5 inches or…

Find an activity that gets you moving that you like. You don't have to run for ages on a treadmill. Try different activities & classes. Zumba, yoga, jogging outside, YouTube videos, kayaking, pole fitness, hiking, lifting heavy weights, going for walks or bike rides. Try out lots of different things & see what you enjoy.…

There are about a zillion reasons your stomach could be bloated, from working the muscles the day before to what your ate recently to where you are in your cycle (if you're a female). Bloating will go away eventually. Just stick to your deficit relax.
-
As others said, if it's an activity you do daily as part of your job you should not enter it as a calorie burning exercise, but adjust your activity level. MFP will automatically up your daily calorie amount to make up for it.

Check out Strong Curves. I'd suggest getting the book as well. Glute brides & hips thrusts will become your best friend.

Eat at a deficit to lose weight. To grow a booty I would suggest the strength training program Strong Curves by Brett Contreras. If you're new to strength training you're going to have MUCH more success doing a program that's all ready written out by a professional who knows what they're doing.

Everyone looks flabby while slouching & sitting down. When I was in collage on the competitive dance team with hardly an once of fat on my bones, I still had a roll when I sat down. Don't set yourself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations.

I don't keep junk food that I love in the house. I allow myself one treat in the house at a time. No buying more until the current one is gone. I also only get food that I can eat in "low calorie" portions. For examoke, I will get an ice cream treats that's 100 calories per serving instead of one that's 250. Or I will only…

So sorry about your mother. Congratulations on finding yoga & working on your practice. My brother died quite a few years ago, & yoga has been an important part of my recovery from the ensuing depression. I hope you continue to find solace in your practice.

Inches lost in 2 weeks: Bust 1" Waist .75" Love handles 1" Hips .25" I am beyond ecstatic with this! I thought those huge drops were beyond me (5'6" & 154lbs last Thursday, GW 140lbs). Explains why so many of my old clothes suddenly fit me. This weightlifting thing is no joke! (Using Strong Curves beginner program) I'm…

Tonight I wore my size 6 skinny jeans for the first time in a year! Sat down & had dinner in them & everything. I didn't think that'd happen for another 4lbs... So happy!

Some if my favorutes: -single serving bags of Kettle corn pop corn (100 cals each) -nice, more expensive dark chocolate & only eat a row of squares at a time (less than 100 cals) -there are a few ice cream treats that come in small serving sizes that I've found, depending on the store. Ice cream bon bons, frozen Greek…

Thank you for the feedback. I think you guys are correct in that I went too much too fast. Probably some form issues as well. With my new gym membership, I get 2 free PT sessions. I'm planning on using them to go over form for my major lifts. Once these injuries are back up to snuff, of course.

I suppose, by your definiton, I'm a peacock. I'm a female with a curly mowhawk. My workout gear consists of leggings, booty shorts, crop tops & tanks. All skintight & most in neon. I also stretch my splits, scorpions & backbends at the end of my workout. I wear what I wear & I do what I do because it makes me feel badass &…

I'm no doctor, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like if you're drinking enough alcohol that it's affecting your liver to the point that your liver is struggling to process food correctly, you are going to have much larger health problems than cico.

Thank you for the responses. I have not. But I just joined a new gym that includes 2 sessions with a personal trainer. I plan to use them to check form. Will wait until these injuries are healed & then schedule with a PT. Thank you for the suggestion

After the move I repeated 7 & 8 before moving to week 9 for the first time.

As a lifting beginner, you don't have the knowledge to be writing your own program. Find a program & follow it. There are tons of threads on MFP recommending lifting programs for beginners. I'm using Strong Curves, which is written to grow a shapely butt. Do some research & pick a program that will meet your goals.

I lift & use the Spotify playlist "Rock Hard." Makes me feel like a badass.
