  • My mom and sister both had gastric bypass and NEITHER of them every had to drink whey protein or other afterwards. They were recommended Centrum Complete and I know after that during follow ups they were checked to see if there were others needed. Mom I think needed B-12.
  • If it is nutrients you want, why not sugar-free Carnation instant breakfast drinks??? That is the nutrient drink the bariatric drs here put patients on prior to surgery for breakfast and two snacks along with lunch and dinner consisting of 18 g of protein and one cup of low cal veggie and 64 oz of water.

  • Whatever is cheap and fits.
  • I have not ran a mile since I was in 9th grade over 20 years ago. And even then it took me 8 min 26 seconds to do so. Only running I do now is running in circles and running errands and that is the only running I ever see me doing! I want to be healthy. I am not trying to be athletic.

  • I am over one protein, fiber and sugar every day. Even with that I lost 10 lbs my first week. I have started taking in more carbs and a few more calories this week and scale numbers don't seem to be moving so far. For me, I am going to adjust according to the results I get each week until I find out what numbers work best…
  • I agree. It is dependent on the person. Eating too much or too little can affect weight loss. Food choices can also play a factor. Age plays a factor. The healthy, ideal weight loss for anyone is 1-2 lbs a week. I was told Having to lose over 100 lbs myself that I want to lose it slowly to give the skin time to adjust…
  • I have been a stylist for over 20 years. Sexy Hair makes a dry shampoo. The witch hazel as suggested helps. Baby powder helps. As a stylist though, shampooing should not be making the hair oily. Oil and sweat both come from scalp pores. Shampoo should be helping manage oil. Maybe check the shampoo and conditioner you have…
  • Flirting is dependant on the purpose and is also mistaken. As a hairstylist, I can say I have been called a flirt MANY of times. Call it what you will. I am full of kind words, smiles, etc. I know when I am flirting and I know when I am being nice. It's not my fault if someone else reads into it!
  • I saw a difference in people who did water aerobic exercises. Not sure if that works for everyone. It was part of my exercising when I was 17/18... LOL! So I don't remember. • I log as I go so I know what numbers I am working with. I tried to log the day before but something comes up that makes my meal choices change if I do that unless I go with things not need cooked on the stove or in the oven. I was not over today, but I felt guilty because I ate a McChicken! I ate what I wanted at the time…
  • Same ones I still use TRY to use. The main one is that I see all fit people working out therefore I tell myself I can't do it. And in reality I can not do it! I had to face that fact and realize I have to start of at the bottom of the ladder just like any other successful climb.
  • Basically anything on the outer perimeter of most every grocery stores. The less processed the better! And the whole grains. Wish I could be better help.
  • You handled it better than I would have!!!! Both sides have a right to his or her own opinion, but in that type of professional setting the nurse should have kept her trap shut after hearing where you stand!!!!!

I will get what I think I want, then I will realize that wasn't it....I think all it really craves is more water!!!!!!!
