Water, water and more water for starters. I try to do 1/2 plate veggies, 1/4 plate protein and 1/4 plate fruit when I am trying. That doesn't last long. I know for me last year, cutting sodium and drinking water helped most. I used Weight Watchers for food ideas and I also had friends who had open diaries to use to get…

Thanks for all the advice!!! Last year I saw a big difference just by moving my computer desk chair and replacing it with a stabalizer ball to sit on. So I know the little things help.

Hairstylist. LOVE IT!!! Have done it for 23 years. Still contemplating taking my dental assisting education and changing careers though.

It does seem difficult to eat enough calories when you start making right choices. I am just starting back. I havent gone in to see if I can find last years diary menus. I am hoping so! Thanks for the requests. Looking forward to making the best of this journey!

I wish I could lose some of mine! I started out 44 DDD and 40 lbs less I am at a 42 DDD still. Hoping by the time is all said and done (125 lbs less) I will be down to a C. Best of luck finding the thing that works to make you feel secure and confident. Reaching your goal is a huge success!

Thanks davidpm. Yes my health is more important. Now to take all the knowledge and apply it. (Wow, what a concept!....yes, said with sarcasm! It is the basic of life that is so often ignored! And I am a prime guilty example!)

I am with you, I can definitely live without brown rice!!! I can eat white rice, jasmine rice, risotto, wild rice, couscous etc. Brown rice so far is the only one I have not found a way I even remotely like it. I have eaten it many times but by the time I have added everything to it I am sure the calories would have been…

Yes, I know the feeling. I did my first 8K. Planned on walking it from the very start. I wanted to quit before the first mile. Thought to myself "what am I doing out here with these people?" Even at the end I felt devestated. I reached my goal and that was to make sure I walked less than a 20 min mile. This was my first…

I think it was WebMD and a couple other health sites that said women over 40 should be limited to 1500mg. I only know the age because that is my age. I don't remember all the reasons it listed as to why. For some reason when it comes to weight loss I ask how not why. In every other area of life it is why. LOL.

I have some motivational ones on one of my blog pages.

LOL...not expecting anyone to do that. Just wishing it was easier than typing it in. I need to just start doing it more often. It will beat the unhealthy affects of prepackaged foods.

http://www.lowsodiumcooking.com/free/Archive.htm Hope that helps you find some things! I know what you mean about not seeing results. I have lost 25 lbs and don't see a difference. I also read that if you are more bloated in the evening hours it could be air in your system. The article said something about avoiding whipped…
