Reduce sugar intake - that's right - break into those cupboards and purge the sweet treats and replace with high fibre and lean proteins. As an added bonus replace juice drinks with smoothies :-)

Heck I've been in Ontario and Quebec winters. Alta, and Yukon, for that matter are much more liveable! Reason - no "great" lakes and thus less to no humidity. Buy lots of skin moisturizer.
