Help please!

I'm 33, wife and mother to an 8 year old girl and 2 year old boy. I'm new to this site, but this losing weight thing is nothing new to me. I've lost and gained weight most of my adult life and I'm ready to lose it for good. I'm reaching out to anyone out there for any kind of support/help you can offer.

Gt outside, walk/run play with children and others. Watch what you eat and stick to your goals. Find friends on here who are in your similar situation who are positive and encouraging (hint: some people are toxic?) Make friends with those and then EVERY DAY...Log EVERYTHING you eat.

If you fail once or twice or more jump back up and continue on.

Eat food that you like. Fit it into your daily calorie goal. Log everything religiously and study your Food Diary. Drink a lot of water. Sleep 7-8 hours. Find some sort of activity that you enjoy and do it as regularly as possible.
  • Thank you!
  • Reduce sugar intake - that's right - break into those cupboards and purge the sweet treats and replace with high fibre and lean proteins. As an added bonus replace juice drinks with smoothies :-)

Great advice! The most important part to remember if you want to be successful... this is NOT a diet. This is a change in your way of life, and it is completely sustainable. As scary as some people find it, go to www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ and figure out what you should really be consuming calorie wise, take some time and really read the info on the site and it will help tremendously!

Best of luck to you :drinker:
