I eat everyday regular food, I just watch my calories, therefore I can have a sweet treat once in awhile, and since I have been counting my calories I am eating much healthier foods.

I am having similar problems, I am 47 and I am pre-menapausal, so I never know when I will have a period. I have found that when I skip a month I seem to gain a pound or two, is that normal? Because it is very frustrating.

I would just be honest with your friend, I'm sure she would understand, just let her know you would love to go out for dinner sometime as long as it was at a place where you could have some healthy choices. If this person is a true friend they will totally understand.

I have also tried yoga and just couldn't do it, they tell you to focus on your breathing and everytime I tried to do that I would hyper ventilate, don't know why but I just did. And I too think it's boring, zumba on the other hand is such a great work out and lots of fun too.

alcohol has alot of calories, I say drink the orange juice and be your brothers disignated driver. Just a suggestion.

that is sad but you got to take what you want and ignore what you don't want, there are always going to be people like that. You just have to let it go, people generally make sarcastic comments when they are feeling pretty low about themselves, For some reason it seems to make them feel better.

what I do is look at how many calories are per serving, then see how many servings are per package, say it is 199 calories per serving and there are 5 servings, I would then multiply 199 by 5 and that would give you the total calories for the entire package. I am tracking my calorie intake as well as how much I burn each day, I also have switched to low cal foods for the most part. I don't go over 1200 calories a day.
