  • sounds like this person is a quack.
  • I would definately try apple juice and foods with high fiber before using any kind of medicine even over the counter, and if the first doesn't work then ask his pediatrician, they will probably tell you to try the miralax but unless they do I wouldn't use it, doing anything natural is so much better for the health of your…
  • Thank you both for your posts and I signed up for the quit smoking group, I am going to give it 110%.
  • I am on day 2 of no smoking, I have smoked for 34 years, quit a few times in between but always went back to it, I want to stay off of them for good this time, I too am using the patch this time, but I do find it really hard after I am done eating something, that's when I crave them the most, and now that I am not smoking…
  • Way to go, great job, keep it up, you look marvelous darling:))
  • I would personally wean myself off of them and try to just eat healthier and exercise more, you can't stay on diet pills for the rest of your life so you need to learn how to control things on your own. It gave you a good jump start, a very good jump start on your weight loss but you need to learn a healthy way of doing…
  • 100 lbs. is not that much to lose if you look at it in small increments, I have a sister in law who had the lap band surgery, that was about 5 years ago, she started at around 375 lbs and within a year she was down to 150 lbs. She was always sick, couldn't keep anything down, had to puree her food for a very long time, she…
  • First of all, when did you start on this site? This doesn't happen over night and if you keep telling yourself you can't do it, then you won't, so what's the problem? Sorry if I am going to sound harsh but it's honesty here, sounds to me like you keep coming up with excuses for yourself. I use to work at McDonalds too, and…
  • that is why I quit drinking, I was always the crazy Aunt Dee.
  • I prayed.
  • stay strong, don't give up, you didn't get where you are over night, it's going to take time and alot of adjustments, but it's all worth it in the long run, don't be doing this for anyone but yourself. Your father is probably just worried about your health and sometimes family just doesn't know how to approach someone and…
  • I think it just depends on what you buy. Costco is great for bulk buying so I shop there when I want to get stuff that will last a while, but for things like milk and cheese and other stuff that I tend to use up much quicker I shop at other stores.
  • my daughter has it and her hair thinned alot until the doctors got her on the right dose and she continually took it, now her hair is thick again, she is 25.
  • I did see a doctor about 2 monthes ago and he said I was pre menopausal. So hopefully he is right.
  • ok, this sucks, I thought I was possibly done having periods, it has been over 3 monthes since I had one and woke up this morning to not a happy surprise. My mother never told me anything about menopause because she never had it. She had a full hysterectomy when she was 33 so she said she never had symptoms. Since I have…
  • wow, never thought of that idea, hope someone know where cause I could sure use that this year, got 2 pug puppies recently.
  • I have never heard of it, the only thing I have heard of that makes you sweat out alot of calories are sweat lodges, and those you have to be so careful in.
  • I don't eat my exercise calories either, I have been using this site since sept. 13, I have lost 16lbs so far.
  • I am 5'7 and I weigh 157lbs. I just lowered my calories to 1100, I was at 1200 but haven't lost anything for the past week. I don't normally eat my burned calories, I have dipped into them once or twice but try not to. I want to lose another 27 lbs.
  • mine did that too, and I find when I do increase my fiber it goes back to regular.
  • I try to make sure I have a little calories left over for when I want to snack in the evening, then I like to snack on chocolate flavored rice cakes, they are very tasty and low in calories.
  • your body is definately detoxing, I gave up drinking 7 years ago and I went through that, I am still smoking though, that's my next thing to give up. Just hang in there and it gets a whole lot better.
  • I go by what mfp says because it does take your weight into consideration.
  • If it were mine, and I didn't ask for your input, I would personally appreciate it anyways.
  • I don't think that your goal is unreasonable for your height, my goal is to be at that same weight or maybe even 130 and I am 5'7, it all depends on how comfortable you feel at it, and that weight certainly won't be harmful to you. I am small built and my whole life up until 7 years ago I weighed 130 lbs and looked great,…
  • I put to lose 2 lbs. a week and my calories for the day are just 1200, but I have found that, that's more than enough for me, but I guess it depends on your body type and how fast you want to lose.
  • my daughter did it and she later regretted it, lost alot of weight really fast then put alot of weight on right after that. I spoke with my doctor and I happen to agree with him about it. He said it's not the drops that are making you lose the weight it's the 500 calories they want you to stick to while on it. That little…
  • I am going to exercise more over the holidays so that I may enjoy a few of the holiday treats, but I love the way I have been feeling now and I don't want that to change.
  • you look so amazing, you are beautiful in both pics but now you are alot healthier, keep up the great work:)))
  • I think it all depends on what you put in for your goal weight and the amount of time you want to reach it. I know for me I wanted to lose 44 lbs by April and I am on a 1200 calorie plan, but I am a woman and my starting weight was 179. I would recheck your goals cause that does seem a little low.
