  • Skip disappointment it doesn't help. If you're comfort eating beating yourself up will only make it worse and so the vicious circle rolls on. I am drawing a line and today is a fresh start. Lowering my cal target so I don't give myself an excuse to over do it then be self critical. I say to myself all I have done is wasted…
  • You're right of course. Step by small step is the way forward- literally of course! It is tempting to try and claw back by setting a low, unrealistic cal target. I have done this before and it don't work!! Am going to lower weight loss target to 1 lb per week till I go on hols and be a bit kinder to myself!
  • I am in England is that near enough???

  • Wow well done! You look great!
  • Thanks for that!
  • I have a number of Weight watchers cookery books. Some of the earlier ones are quite inventive and they include the cals for each recipe which is great! Examples are The Pure Points; Pure Points; Time to Cook; etc. I can give more titles...
  • I make 4 or 8 portions of soups in a pressure cooker - takes just 10 mins to cook then blitz with hand blender - smooth and thick. I freeze most of them then always have ready hot nourishing and delish lunch available. e.g. Curried sweet potato and lentil, spicy butternut squash, parsnip and orange, etc. Any casserole you…
  • How about tackling this before you are presented with actual food? take an opportunity to talk to her at a peaceful moment and expalin that although you know she loves to nurture people / you with food, and you really appreciate that, but you want to get fitter and healthier and eating fattening foods won't help. if she…
  • You have done really well. I think I have got stuck in doldrums, post holiday and later weekend in London - all excuses I know!
  • Wow that is pretty good going! I am feeling quite inspired.
