I wanted to look younger but couldn't afford surgery (haha). Was looking at before and after pictures and realized I could take a few years off if I lost a few (50) pounds. I did it! But....it took a few years and while I may look slimmer I don't look younger. C'est la vie :)

I've found that its taking a lot longer this time. I've lost weight in my early 20's, super easy. After I had my son in my 30's saw steady progress but took a bit longer. Divorce weight in my 40's... it's taking FOREVER. While my thoughts are due to personal experience my girlfriend is having the same experience. Not…

I did three things for my hip pain. #1 - My jogging form was bad. I swayed way too much. So maybe work on form while doing your running program. #2 - I sleep on my side alot and would wake up barely able to stand, so I started putting a pillow between my knees at night. (no comments from the peanut gallery please :) ) #3 -…

Dude, give me a break. You're not overweight, your obese. Big difference. When was the last time you asked out a chick that weighed as much as you do? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Tell them I want to get married in the next year. Works every time :)

Great job! You look fabulous!

I live in Pacifica and only have one west coast person on my FL. All the east coasters are closing their diaries at 5:30 my time:) (op deactivated her account but if the rest of you are still around.... )

This totally happened to me! (or I tried the same thing, however you want to phrase it). Step one: Have your child hold your feet and do one. You actually can but its a bit of wiggle Step two: Do step one for 5 days Step three: Do one on your own for a week Step four: Do 5 on your your own for a week And repeat adding 1…

I'd say average but only if you're sure to include a current full length picture. Curvy is online code for heavy. The reason is, when they search you'll get excluded but if that's a recent picture on your profile here, your not heavy! Let's be real here, I haven't met a guy yet, from online, that posted a recent picture.…

I wasn't able to quit smoking cold turkey (tried last year and yeah, cold turkey wasn't going to work). So instead I have been steadily, but kind of slowly, cutting back. This has worked for the most part but recently life has thrown some serious curveballs and am struggling a bit to keep at it. I've managed to stay on…

The young guy on the running path that laps me every time.

I'm 5'5 and my goal weight is to fit into an expensive pair of jeans I bought (and had altered to fit me perfectly) when I lost the baby weight and before I gained the divorce weight. They are size 8.

Those are the days I do NOT skip my jogging. I'm slower and begrudging every minute but if I didn't do it, by the end of the day, I won't only be having a fat day but a day of failure because I didn't exercise.

You can definitely tell! Did you do that in the last three months? That's FABULOUS!!

Oh it's nice to see some people over 29 on here! I'm 44 and this whole thing is a struggle for me, each and every day. I'm in California so if you're wanting a late night snack, I'll be here!

Haven't been doing this long enough to see a physical change but have been jogging for about 4 months and I TOTALLY appreciate that I can do four miles now and not be crawling at the end.
