That looks great. What do you mean by not safe? It's a power rack. It's sole purpose is for safe lifting. Those bars that go from front to back are spotter bars, that can be adjusted to just below the bottom of your ROM, to catch the barbell if you fail a lift.

It's much harder to put on new muscle than it is to preserve existing muscle. I highly suggest you rethink this strategy.

From the sound of it you have to have cream and sugar. I guess you don't actually like coffee if you have to destroy it with cream and sugar. Maybe try caffeine pills.

No. You don't have to shower, brush your teeth, or wash your underwear either.

have you tried those wraps? they can probably be worn on the face if you cut little nostril holes into them. put the wrap on the face first, then cut the nostril hole out (or just poke through with a sharp pencil). you don't want to do it in the other order because then the holes might not line up.

I started with Body For Life. In retrospect, it was a very inefficient use of time to do this elaborate split routine as a complete beginner. But on the other hand, it was better than nothing and at least set me down the path of fitness.
