I'm also not a fat *kitten* any more, whereas I once was a fat *kitten*. And I've never once subscribed to any nonsense like Cellular Nutrition or the weak *kitten* notion that controlling food is so hard that one should need a product to help them. Get a grip.

Shakes are a kind of food. They have calories, fat, protein, carbs. Control your food and you control your weight. It's that simple. There is nothing special or magic about these shakes, other than their high price tag evidently.

You should be within +/- 100 imo. One day here and there where you're off the charts is ok.

If you're using your scale at home, accuracy should not be your concern. It's inaccurate. You may however get to see the general trend. If anything pick a consistent time of day to do it, like first thing in the morning.

Chucks are great. Do-Wins are not that much more expensive. The heal really helps with squats. On the other hand, for deadlifts, I use my chucks or just barefoot or socks.

Some groceries have pre-made dough balls you can use. I got some from Trader Joe's once. They are passable, and a good way to practice. But honestly, the no-knead dough was a big breakthrough for me. It makes the process so easy.

Dough: follow Jim Lahey's no-knead pizza dough recipe: http://food52.com/recipes/16641-jim-lahey-s-no-knead-pizza-dough Sauce: get a can of quality peeled whole tomatoes. drain out the water. crush them a little by hand, then drain out more water. If you're trying to save your calories for more than a day or two, wrap them tightly, place in an airtight container, and keep them in the coldest part of the refrigerator. They should keep for about 5 days. Longer in the freezer.

I had a diet coke the other day and woke up fat. Now I have to start all over.
-
Two things: 1. plan ahead. space out food throughout the day so you don't come up short 2. use a TDEE-based approach rather than exercise calories approach, which should smooth out your intake from day to day

Can we talk about the proper nesting and balancing of the [quote] tag next?

It's not you, it's him.

And I never claimed it was dangerous. I'm just not a fan of being unkind to oneself is all.

Great progress! :drinker:

This is well resolved. Keep studying. It will eventually click.

Lots of places put Margherita Pizza on their menu, but when they bring it out, it's obvious that they have no idea what that means.

I live in the first world. I was born into luxuries compared to a large percentage of the rest of the world. Luxuries which I take for granted. Having plenty of food in my house and eating it when I'm hungry is one of them. Going to bed hungry makes me sad. Being sad means not being at my best. I want to be at my best.
