Yeah! Makes it much more enjoyable when things aren't bouncing around.

Way to go. For me the belt loop NSV is bigger than any SV.

By the way, I love the belt loop shot. For me dropping a belt loop is bigger than loosing the weight.

Congratulations, I know how you feel. Last year, at 52, I went to the doctor, high cholesterol, borderline high blood pressure, lots of stress at work, sleep apnea and raising two teenage daughters. I didn't think I would be around too much longer. I lost 30 lbs before I found MFP. I found other men like you on this site…

If I was running on a treadmill I would feel the same way. I love to run outside but I hate treadmills. I can spin and be happy with it indoors but I can't do the treadmill.

Technically speaking there isn't any nutrition in it other than water so it isn't good for you there and depending on your views of man-made chemicals it may or may not hurt you. I used to be a Pepsi addict and my wife was a diet Coke addict. When we finally gave those up all our heartburn went away. We used to go through…

I've tried the low carb thing and lost a lot of weight but for me it wasn't sustainable. I love pastas, breads, etc so completely cutting them out forever was not sustainable. Some of the studies I have read show that low carb diets cause you to loose weight initially quicker than other diets but then it tends to plateau…

7 daughters? Dude, I got scared and quit after 2. Have a buddy with four daughters that was my inspiration. My hat is off to you.
