^^ This is exactly the truth. The more you make, the more you spend. We are creatures of habit. If you spend all of what you make now without savings on less income, you would do the same with $10K a month. Money goes quickly. If you are a saver with less income, then you would be a saver in the same fashion. The worst…

^ THIS, imo. People dump and move on far too frequently today. This is one reason our divorce rate is so ridiculously high in our nation. If you are doing this with him, you will do it again, more than likely. Maybe take a deeper look within yourself to find out what you want and why you are in the relationship to begin…

I did the 30DS and moved into a Beachbody program, but chose to start with Insanity due to it being a 60 day program. It fit our spring/summer schedule better with travel plans. We are 24 days into the program and are eating a high protein diet: 40/30/30. We use a whey protein shake to supplement protein, but it sin't…

This is same way I found MFP. I am a nursing student pursuing my BSN and was required to sign up, troll the forums, and complete a semester long project that included a self analysis, as well as other critiques, for a clinical nutrition course. The project was very detailed, included other sources, and was 17 pages in…

Hahahaaaaa! Hilarious, but oddly, it seems logical!

I just went to see what MFP calculates for my BMR, out of curiosity. They calculate it much lower at 1298. This is too low, imho! Eek! To think people are eating below their BMR and calorie goals set by MFP.

BMR: 1404 TDEE: 2177 GOAL: 1677 MFP set me at 1200 as a daily goal. My exercise calories bump me up to around 1650-1700 per day, most days. I eat my exercise calories and it places me where I am supposed to be!

Level 1 is the worst, as far as THIS is concerned. lol By about day 7, I did mute her and played my own music! I found that levels 2 and 3 were not as bad though. Hang in there. :)

I have one more day and I am done! I haven't taken final measurements yet, but as of a few days ago, I had lost an inch in my bicep, 1/2 inch in my neck, 2 inches in my chest, 5 inches in my waist, 2 inches in my hips, 1 1/2 inches in my thighs, and my calves stayed the same. I am happy even if they haven't changed since…

Hi and congrats on the 4.5 lbs! Even if it isn't where you would like to be, it is something! Something you said raised concern for consideration. You mention that you feel like giving up because the scale isn't moving, followed by the statement that you don't allow people to look at your diary because you got too many…

^^ THIS! ^^ I highly suggest holding the stretches much longer than JM does in her cool down. It will help you get through the soreness too. When you feel sore, push play! When you workout while you are sore, you get through it in a few days. If you take days off and then go back, you will be sore all over again. If you…

I was just looking through Insanity threads and came across your post. I really don't know the difference between the two. I am starting Insanity in a couple of weeks though. I did, however, watch a video on Body Revolution. It appears to be a 90 day program that JM has implemented to compete with P90X. I am doing Insanity…

I think that it is really nice that you are so supportive of your friends, as well as that you are trying to come up with new ways to say words of encouragement. I would like to recommend tossing the list and just saying whatever comes to mind. Don't worry about if you used those words before. If you want it to be unique,…

Add me to the fractured toe group! It's ridiculously annoying. I never knew a toe could cause so much discomfort and inconvenience!!! I am trying to do what I can in terms of exercise, but it is pretty pathetic. They almost put a wire (the way the do a pin) in it. It constantly breaks back open and bleeds, even though it…

My boyfriend is out of the country on business, so I will be home alone on Valentine's Day. We are having our romantic celebration when he gets home in a couple of weeks. That being said, I am still planning on a delicious dinner for myself!!! ;) If you even remotely like risotto, then you are missing out if you never try…

I wish I had that "problem"! I didn't know it is even possible to be 5'3 and 138 lbs in a size 2. I am 5'3 and 141 lbs right now. I, however, sometimes wear a size 6 , and in other things an 8! I am very proportioned, but curvy with a full bust, 36D. I have been as low as 117, but still wore a 4!!! Where is your weight? If…

Hi there! Let me first start by saying welcome! MFP can be a really great tool. As someone that has practiced Bikram Yoga, I can honestly say that I have never burned 1000+ calories in a 90 minute class, and I have never worked out harder than I have in Bikram. That being said, the MFP calculation is probably more…

I am a huge fan of organics. I have found that everyone (like pretty much everything else) has their own opinion on organics. Like conventional foods, certain brands have better quality or taste than others. I have seen a lot of people in my circle try one product and apply it to "organics", opposed to the brand. If you…

When I go out for sushi, I encounter the same thing and have found this site incredibly helpful! http://www.mymakisushi.com/nutrition.php

Always read the nutrition label or facts given by the brand, etc. online. I have found that a lot of information is incorrect on here. I enter in a lot of my own so that I know they are correct. Since I read labels on everything I eat, it is fairly easy to determine if something is correct or not.

I agree with Onomatopoeia because of the word 'roaring'.
