I've noticed my cramps intensifying a little after a workout, but I've always been one with horrible periods. The only thing that has helped me is taking like 4 aspirin and/or being on the birth control pill. I still exercise though.

Dude. I have to watch every bite. I'm with ya. I work out almost every day too, just so I can eat more haha!

don't do cardio and eat only meat. Also: fruit is bad for you. Too much sugar.

a large potato might be too large. I would do one medium, boiled, and then add your milk separately.

Something I like to do is make a big batch soup using fresh, or frozen, vegetables and whatever else you want to put in. Then I portion it all out in Tupperware and send my husband off to work in addition to some healthy fruit and other snacks. Hope this help! Prepared foods just has a ton of preservatives and sodium like…

Yeah, you'll definitely get answers from different people. I consider myself a light exerciser, so I do it 6-7 days a week. Sometimes twice a day. (rarely) I used to DREAD exercise. I've lost 20 pounds before not doing much of it, and all the weight came back because I didn't address my original issue with food: mood. If I…

When I do cardio, I can actually go over my calorie count by a couple hundred or so and still lose weight the next day. It's amazing for you.

please don't forget to cite your sources - unless you wrote this whole thing?

Going that much over your sodium will cause your body to retain water, and in affect, prevent you from seeing the numbers drop on the scale. Even if you drink 10, 12, 14 cups of water, if you do that every day, you might not see results like you want. My advice is to stay away from processed foods and away from too much…

I do yoga and a lot of the poses have you on your stomach. I actually try not to workout until about an hour after I eat, and 30 minutes after I work out.

girl, you're looking awesome! Keep staying strong.

Trying to be helpful here... two of the biggest factors that helps me lose weight is drinking a crap ton of water and sleeping at least 8 hours. good luck!!

The headline is a little misleading, but cardio should definitely be paired with strength training and vice versa. I mix yoga with cardio almost every single day and it's helped my metabolism immensely as well as my weight loss and inches off my body.

Yoga is great for that. Check out Ana Brett's dvds.

I drink a glass of wine at least 5 times a week I'd say. If I try to horde my calories to get my booze on, say, 3 glasses, I do in fact get the munchies. Moderation is totally key.

I love, love olive oil but I find myself trying not to use it due to its calorie content. It's sort of an extra treat.

I really like smart balance butter. Lower calorie plus no trans fats.

I eat all the foods i love - wine - chocolate - pasta, etc, all while staying within my calorie range. You don't have to deny yourself these foods while losing weight. Eating these foods isn't cheating.

I don't have a planned cheat day. If it's a special occasion, I will allow myself to indulge, but I think doing that even once a week can be really detrimental to your success, especially if you don't count your calories.

I haven't because they don't have a vegetarian option.

This doesn't mean I don't splurge every now and then, but I guess I'm in the category that fruit is awesome for you. Some might be better for other things, but healthy is healthy.

I'm a firm believer in buying what's in season. It's good for you and good for the planet.

Nothing since I've started eating better and ignoring cravings. No more bloatedness.

It was seeing those pictures coupled with the fact that my blood pressure was getting pretty high.

Last week I made plain bagel sandwiches with low fat veggie cream cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, & spring mix. Sooooo good, low calories, and totally filling. (Plus totally easy!)

Local supporting local business - but sometimes you just can't afford to.

I believe that businesses only sell items that have a demand. I don't think Walmart has an agenda to make people fatter - it's that people who shop at Walmart prefer to buy bags of 3 bags of Doritos, 2 bottles of sprite, and 3 candy bars. (True story, while I stand behind her carrying some mushrooms and a bag of walnuts.)…
