I have used MFP exercise calories unless I am plugging my weight into the machine. I use the calories the my runkeeper app calculates as it uses my weight and takes into consideration the hills I run or walk on. I typically eat back some of my calories and have been able to lose 30 pounds.

5' 2" and just hit 108. Would love to add any friends that are moving into the maintenance phase. Still have a lot of toning to do!

We have had very similar journeys. I started MFP in September at 140 and can hardly believe that I am now at 108! Working hard to tone up what is left of me, please feel free to friend me if you are looking for any maintenace buddies.

Love your quote about now living with my new best friend. I have also had to re-introduce myself to my body and love not being embarrassed by it anymore. Congratulations on your accomplishments so far, I know it is not easy being a busy mom and winning at this weightloss thing!
-
Great job, keep at it and you will be amazed at how fast you are able in increase your runs. When I started MFP in September I could only run a little over a mile and am now planning on running my second 10K next Saturday (I am not very fast but who cares!).

Bump. I am 5"2 1/2 and am down to 111, afraid to slow down the cardio but have added strength training to tone up what is left of me.

Welcome Amy, I will be happy to support you, i have kind of become a MFP junkie since starting here in September. Feel free to add me! Patty

I will be happy to support you. I am nearing the end of my weight loss but plan on staying on MFP as I tone up and get stronger. Send me a request if you would like.

I find it hard to believe that I have been able to go from 140 to 112 since September. I think the thing that has made the biggest difference for me is not having any foods 'off limits'. I have never allowed myself to eat what I want and knowing that I will be logging it keeps me from going overboard. I also exercise a lot…

Welcome, I have been here almost 5 months and can't believe that I have been able to lose 28 pounds. You can totally do this and I would be happy to support you, I am here everyday.

I love MFP because I am not restricted in what I can eat. That is where my failure has been in the past in that I would crave whatever was be restricted and then binge. I now can have what I want but knowing I will log it and need to stay in an overall goal makes me make better choices or exercise a little harder. Good…

Dry roasted edamame. 1/4 cup has10g of carbs 8 which are fiber, 14g protein and 130 calories. Yummy and crunchy!

Took a peek at your diary and you may want to track your sodium intake and adjust your water on days when you are high. Are you using a heart rate monitor to calculate your exercise calorie to make sure you are recording what you are actually burning? Good luck.:flowerforyou:

Please feel free to add me, I am a busy mom to three and can't believe how painless it has been for me to lose 28 pounds since September. I was also fighting going on cholesterol meds and did get mine down to acceptable levels only with diet and exercise. I am about at my goal weight but plan on staying on here to keep…

Took diet pills (prescription) in my earlly 20's to try and lose maybe 10 - 15 lbs (quack doctor gave me the prescription). Stopped taking when I got scared from heart palpatations. I now have a heart murmur that I have been told is very likely due to the diet pills. I would stay away from them.

Soy Crisps (like rice cakes but with soy protein) Roasted Soy nuts or Edamame Kashi Pita Chips have a decent amount of protein and fiber.
