My family loves baked sweet potatoe fries. Peel, slice, spray with a little olive oil and toss with cinnamon, salt and pepper. Bake at 400 and turn a couple times.

I am so glad to find this group. I am 44 in feel like I have been in perimenopause for the last few years. Slice it lengthwise in quarters, spray a little olive oil on it, add S&P and roast it at 400 approx 20 minutes. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and pop under the broiler to melt and brown the cheese.

Soy crisps are crunchy and salty. They are like rice cakes but made from soy so you get protein with them and only 70 cal per serving.

I don't think there is anything wrong with doing some cardio everyday but would not do weights on a daily basis. Be careful not to burn yourself out. Good luck!!:happy:

Hey Liz, I started MFP 3 1/2 weeks ago and am also doing 1200/day. So far I am amazed that I have lost nearly 10 pounds and am fitting back into old jeans. Try taking acidophilus supplements. I have found taking 1 14 mg tablet daily has greatly reduced my syptoms.
