Thanks LadyPakal, what you say makes sense.:) It is weird that the body fat % went down by so much but it doesn't matter in the big scale of things I will keep logging and moving. At some point in the future my body fat will pop back to expected levels.

Your health and the health of your baby is too important to ask strangers on the internet for their advice on your situation. Ask your doctor and/or midwife and follow their advice. That said I did lose weight whilst being pregnant with number 4 (currently 3 months old), with my midwife's permission. I had moved from 257…

I love this, I have been doing this for over a year and shred over 5 stone and had a pregnancy/new baby in that time too. My exercise and food intake are a work in progress, I still eat too much of the wrong stuff but it is a million miles away from what I use to eat. I keep setting and achieving my 'tiny goals', I will…

No, we have four children to parent...so one runs whilst the other watches the children, then we swap over. Maybe when the children are older we can all go running together :)

Will do, thanks :)

LOL, oh dear...heap on the floor is not a good look. However the good news is you are ten minutes fitter now and the next ten minutes of exercising you do will be slightly easier than today and after that it will get easier still....you are on your way :)

I know ! I feel this way too but an hour at home exercising with my HRM showed that I burnt a reasonable amount of calories (same as an outside the house exercise class) and my body certainly feels it today :)

I have started using Kinnect X box games in order to exercise at home...that said I did an hour of 'My Shape Cardio Boxing' two days ago and I can't walk properly today !

Quite the opposite :) I have so many goals, so that I practically hit one or another target every week. Of course I won't meet them all, but I will improve in one area or another with some effort :)

I am 38 yo, 5' 4" and 185 lbs. I wear my HRM for all of my Zumba classes. I burn between 550 to 700 for an hour long class, I try to push myself and put as much effort as I can into my classes...trying to get my money's worth I guess, LOL You really need a HRM it is the only accurate way of tracking the calories that you…

LOL, Sounds interesting. :)

Wow, thanks for all the positive comments and support, this forum really rocks. :) I definitely feel sorry for their child, been raised by such parents I also in a small part feel sorry for the parents too. Sounds like the parents have not been raised properly with little or no social graces, they have never been taught…

I will continue to run and I will draw a line under this situation and give the new neighbours the benefit of a doubt. They now know that I do not want comments made to/about me whilst I am running, lets see if they understand that. If they refrain from making any further comments I will be happy and treat them as nicely…

Aww, thanks so much for the replies :) I was feeling so down about it all. Strangely I feel quite ashamed of myself for confronting them so directly but I was so angry about it too. My husband told me he was proud of me and that last year I would of come home and cried, he could not believe that I spoke to them ! BTW 'Dad'…

Thank you :) I really hope your back gets better soon, I would miss running too :(

I can not recommend enough the NHS Couch to 5k podcasts. Nine weeks of training runs, three times a week which build up from one minute of running up to running for 30 minutes solid. Then I got pregnant did run until my sixth month and restarted when baby was 5 weeks old. Began to run outside, which is much from…

Thanks for the lovely comments. I needed a boost, as I have been struggling to get back into the zone after the birth of my youngest (2 months old today, sweetie pie) The nice comments the neighbour made really encourage me to keep going and I will get there some day. Just another 3 stone (42 pounds to go)

Thanks, right I'll stop worrying about the lack of weight loss and keep checking with my tape measure. Off to get ready for my Zumba class :)
