I am a slow runner who started running 18 months ago, I have managed to move up from 3.5 mph to 4.3 mph and I think I am stuck here for a bit until I start losing more weight again. I love ^ this quote :)

Just drink to your thirst and you will be fine. You won't lose your milk supply if you drink too much or not enough, it is a breastfeeding myth. Your milk is actually made in the main part from your blood and in a much smaller component water but YOU have plenty of water within you. Here is a great resource for…

That blog post made me cry..in a good way. I am trying to build up the courage to move away from my treadmill and start running outside the house but I am dreading the looks and comments about running (slowly and red faced) That blog post gives me hope :)

Yes, I guess it is head control issues with little ones. I reckon it will be enough of a challenge to walk a regular long walk for the next couple of months. Then I will look at my baby's head control and how old she is before I try slow running.

Just reporting back post baby. I put on 8.8lbs over my pregnancy and lost 20.6 lbs within the first week of giving birth to my 9lb 7oz daughter :) So I ended up lighter after this baby, which was nice.

I'm nearly 36 weeks and have only gained 5lbs over the last 3 weeks much better than my last pregnancies.

Thanks for the heads up. Should make eating out less of a nightmare. I like to look up menus and try and make choices before I go out to eat, but having the calories will help :)

How accurate are your current figures ? i.e. Do you use a heart rate monitor for monitoring calories burnt via exercise AND do you measure/weigh all food portions to ensure your food calories are accurate ?
