LOL, just 2% incline. Mmm, have to look into this further.

It does take my age, weight and gender into account and it has a chest strap. I'll have to remember to alter my weight as it changes.
-
I'll have to try a Kettleworx workout and see what I get on my HRM. Last kettlebell workout I put it under MFP Strength training and for 20 minutes of sweat and tears had 77 calories burn which I thought looked low. I'll look forward to seeing what Zephyr says :)

LOL, love this post. Wow, bit of a difference in calories, guess I better alter my exercise calories upwards !

My husband started running with me and now he is on MFP with the nickname 'Fatchair'. I am currently enjoying watching him pump iron in the living room P90 Arms & Shoulders <fans herself>

Marking my place on this thread as I want to know this too

Thanks for the posts and links, I'll be reading everything. I expect this journey to be over the rest of my lifetime, I'm not after a quick fix, I know it will take a minimum of a couple of years to get anywhere near my goal, I'm not 100% sure of where I want to end up. Just healthier and able to move better.

Totally, I am doing this to get healthier. That is why exercise is my new enjoyable hobby. I can't believe I am excited to be going back to aerobics tonight (I stopped for a couple of weeks after a knee injury.)

How wonderful, I wish I could run two miles at once :)

Thanks Ladies :)

I have no idea about exercise calories but common sense says you should be eating more. If you are burning 1000 and eating 1600, your body only gets a net calorie of 600 calories daily ! Nearly everyone should have a minimum of 1200 calories according to MFP (unless your doctor says different) Hope that helps.

Wow, what a difference :) Well done.

Yes, search for breastfeeding under food.

Sorry to interupt the flow of this thread, just need to post a correction of this common breastfeeding myth. The amount a mother can pump does not accurately reflect what a baby consumes nor what the mother can produce. Some women can not pump a drop yet nurse successfully for years. As you were :)
-
Search for breastfeeding under food and it will give you several optional, choose the one closest to what you are doing. I get an extra 200 calories by choosing "Breastfeeding - Older Baby or Minimal Feedings" and I add that entry to my breakfast everyday. I am actually tandem feeding an toddler and older baby but would…

Very inspiring post :)

Everything. I log all my food and exercise so I can see the good and bad points of my lifestyle. It wouldn't help me if I omitted information on purpose.

Three weeks :)

I assume you are in USA, it is early morning in rainy England !

Luckily I have just read this having eaten my breakfast, so not too unhealthy. Two Weatabix with soya milk and 4 Seed Mix (Sunflower, Pumpkin, Sesame Seeds, Golden Linseeds) and Sun Grown Berry Mix on the top 285 calories but only counts as 85 for me as I add my breastfeeding status on breakfast so get an extra 200…

Good enough, sounds great :) Enjoy your new jeans !

Thanks Hunny. I usually shop at Tesco, but I'll wander over to Asda and see what I can get. I did get a lovely pack of Black Bean Crackers from Asda last month (treat from my mum)
-
Thanks, I have an Costco, could try that. I'll ask the mums on the playground if they know of any health food shops, nearby.
-
Thanks MrsODriscoll & vegangirl88. I am not bothered about the same mixes just trying some of the crackers, nuts etc at a cheaper price. I have heard of Holland & Barrett shops, no idea if we have any health shops locally, but I'll goggle.

Just made it in excel and converted to a jpg and uploaded to the internet. I update it once a week.

Aww, you NSV had me in tears, happy tears :)

So far I prefer half wholemeal pitta bread with small amount of chocolate spread inside, it lasts ages. Or half a Bournville chocolate bar if it fits in my calories.
-
Are you measuring yourself, maybe you have lost inches instead ?

Wow, week five. Well done, Whilst I have not looked up how much running is on week 5, it must be more than scary week 4, LOL.
