I take the lazy way out. Yoplait makes already cut up frozen fruit for smoothies, you just have to add milk. And jamba has the same thing, you just add apple juice. I get light apple juice from walmart. both are found in frozen fruit isle.

Of course you can!! walking burns calories, and the brisker your pace, the more calories you burn. Go on to track exercise and type in walking. It will bring up miles per hour, and you can see how many calories you can burn. Do you have exercise induced asthma? Do you have an inhaler or take anything?

i do it under circuit training, general. I put 18 minutes for the actual training, and it puts me at 150 cal for my weight

When there is something wrong with the machine I hop on, like the tv doesn't work. I actually was on a treadmill last week where the speed wouldn't decrease. That was scary! but I guess it kept me moving.

I'm starting to make smoothies for breakfast. It's a yummy drink for only 140 calories. I have a hard time eating my fruits and vegies too. I have to remember to eat one fruit a day and half the time I grab something else instead, but if I have a smoothie I start my day out with my fruit!

Once I get started I am so glad I did. I sort of fell off the exercise wagon for a couple weeks and when I finally made it back to the gym I could've kicked myself because I felt so good afterwards.

Plan meals ahead. That keeps me from ordering takeout. And I try to use the stairs instead of the elevator at work.

That is something to be super excited about!! Don't let her comment cheapen the progress you have made. A pound is a pound and they add up!! I love MFP too, it keeps me in check more than any person has.
