He's losing weight at a decent pace and has his calories set too low, anyway, right? Leave him alone.

"Burger King" is pretty ambiguous. What are you ordering for those 2,000 calories?

Odus' fun cave.
-
You're supposed to eat it, Odus.

"3) Do you gain weight with your period? Are you kidding me? I know you're new to fitness, but I doubt you're new to being a woman..." Am, too!
-
Um, yeah, that's called genetics.

Interesting, because Plexus is one of the ones I see pushed the hardest.

Some of these MLMs use some really obnoxious, sneaky tactics. I don't understand how someone can sell for a company that encourages lying to and tricking your friends.

I had some pretty serious (though different) problems in my own relationship and I have to say that what it finally came down to was that one "cruel," blunt talk in the end. I had to lay it out because he was in a lot of denial about things and I was fed up. You may not have reached that final point, but then you may never…

I'm sorry. It sounds like you're told him and he isn't listening. Ask him to go to counseling, but he may not go. He's deep in denial. I think you've done your part. You can't make him do anything, but you shouldn't have to keep suffering for it. You've been honest, continue being honest. This is the way it is, and keep…

Why aren't you on medication? Thyroid issues aren't something to mess around with. Weight is the least of the issues. While it's a PITA, untreated Hashimoto's (the cause of 90% of hypothyroid) causes heart problems, cancer and a whole host of other life-threatening conditions. Get medicated. OP -- I have Hashimoto's.…

About whether her boyfriend wants kids? OK. Yes, her boyfriend, a man I have never met and probably never will, is absolutely going to want children the day after they get married. That's my perspective. Hope it was helpful!
-
Yes. Especially in baseball pants. And jeans. A nice-fitting pair of jeans.
-
If you can't have this conversation with the man you're seriously considering marrying, you shouldn't be considering marrying him. "Older guys" do not get together once a year at a convention and decide what they want. Your boyfriend is an individual man with individual desires. Ask him.

Even so, that's still a lot of food.

She'll regain, likely. My endo said she has seen in Hashimoto's cases where the drug has helped reset the metabolism, which was why I tried it. And since going off, my weight gain has slowed, but the losing stopped and I did regain half the weight I lost. I'm just happy to not be gaining as quickly as I was before. But it…

I was on it for three months because my thyroid problems make weight loss impossible. I did lose 10 pounds. I had no appetite at all the first week and tons of energy, but went pretty much back to normal after that, though it did continue helping my metabolism. However, once you go off of it, things WILL go back to…

Well, sure. Brits, as you know, are known for their tasty food! British restaurants are on every corner of every city of every nation in the world, their food is so wonderful! Right?
-
I'm assuming you're kidding, but in case you're serious, please consult your vet.

Navy SEAL = YES, please. Drug dealer or murderer? Um ... no.

My best friend is 5'7" and has weighed as little as 127 pounds. Trust me, she has broad shoulders and large wrists. She has a large frame. It does exist.

This. Migraines suck. I've been getting them since I was 3, but only recently started seeing a neurologist. Mine weren't hormonal, but I was on the pill and then Mirena most of my adult life for other reasons (to not get pregnant! lol). After I got my tubes tied and went off BC, I ended up with headaches every day and…

Dude, seriously? You think THAT'S embarrassing yourself at the gym? Go on YouTube and look up some embarrassing gym videos. You'll feel much better.

Your post was asking specifically for medical advice and we are sharing our experiences, as well as our knowledge based on research and doctors' advice. There is no scientific evidence for what you want to do. There has been research done and it says it doesn't work. There is no effect. Cut out gluten if you want. I don't…

Some people who have had this longer than I have have told me that going low-carb has helped them. going gluten-free will mean you will have cut down on carbs, so that's probably made the difference. Also, you are newly on meds if you are newly diagnosed, so is it the gluten or the meds that is helping you? In addition,…
-
Then going gluten free will not help you.

Dude, calm down. Nothing inappropriate was said. Doctors don't routinely test for other disorders when you have Hashimoto's. I've had to claw and fight just to get diagnosed with Hashi's, much less anything else I might possibly have on top of it.
-
Autoimmune disorders can run together, so as someone else mentioned, if you have symptoms of celiac, get tested.

Also -- once you start, you can't stop ...
