I totally agree with fasting, but I also know that there is more than one way to fast. Instead of doing a TOTAL fast, why not try to do a "strict" diet. Say only eat certain things during those days. You would be giving up other things & using that time to pray about whatever is going on in your life. Or you could give up…

2.5 lbs a week is GREAT!! I'm not sure how much weight you have to lose but if you keep this up you will be down FIFTY pounds (if you have that much to go) in just six months!! So keep doing what you're doing & know that this is a marathon, not a sprint! :smile:

If I know I'm going to eat out I make sure to look up the menu on my phone & pick out what I'm going to have before I get there.
