  • Feel free to add me! I have an almost 2 year old and although I was fortunate to not gain weight while pregnant I gained a ton after he was born because my activity level dropped so much.
  • I would just try and choose healthier options and watch portion sizes. Weigh yourself frequently so you know to adjust what you are eating if you see a consistent upward trend.
  • I'm starting back up tomorrow. C25k is a great program. If I try to do it on my own I overdue it and get sore knees.
  • I had a friend who lost weight using slim fast and who managed to maintain her weight loss (I'm talking 100lbs). Although, using the shakes she really focused on incorporating more fruits and veggies into her diet and cooking her own meals. After losing the weight and being in maintenance she no longer uses the shakes,…
  • I say don't over think it and just start losing weight. However, at 5'9 I don't think 11 stone 11 lbs is really considered underweight. Also, just because you lose 24% of your body weight it doesn't necessarily translate to "fat loss" as you may lose fat, muscle, and water.
  • I'm going to go against the grain here. I have a couple friends who are "bottom heavy" and have very muscular thighs and large calves and if they do a lot of lower body exercise they get larger. I think it is truly in their genetics. So I think genetics plays a large part in how squats/lunges will affect you.
  • I have a weight watchers scale it was like $30 or so. It seems to be very consistent.
  • I've seen mine do the same thing. I figured it was because maybe the Fitbit has a predetermined amount of calories it expects you to burn in a day (based on the goals you added) so if you are really active earlier in the day it overestimates what you are going to burn and then has to correct later in the day... I could be…
  • That small amount shouldn't make a difference. Probably just coincidence.
  • I try to stick to less than 2000 cals a day as far as weight loss goes. Exercise is just more for fitness and so I feel better. I really enjoy running and want it to be easy again.
  • I trained for a marathon in 2010 or 2011 I can't remember exactly and it was the easiest time I ever had losing weight. I started at 205 and ended up at 165. I was eating more to fuel my running and for health (not so much focused on losing weight) and the weight just fell off.
  • I have never heard of this product. However, I do take "thrive" and regardless of what others say I just feel better on the supplement. So do 3 of my friends, I do have 1 friend who thrive hasn't made any difference for. I do not sell the product. But if you are looking for a vitamin/protein/energy supplement it seems to…
  • I'm open to other suggestions as well.
  • Maybe try one of those energy gu gels before or mid run, they won't add too many extra calories. But, otherwise it sounds like maybe you really aren't doing well with the decrease in calories and need to increase them slightly or arleast on the days you run.
  • When I was home with my baby and I felt like I was very active because I was up and down a lot and always doing something I still only got 3-4000 steps a day unless I went to the gym. So my perspective even though being a SAHM is active it doesn't translate that way on a pedometer so I think that is why so many women gain…
  • I thought I would weigh in again on this topic now that I've been using the product for a few weeks. I have steadily been losing weight (about a lb every 3 days), but that is of course attributed to CICO. So, I cancelled my order initially because for the first 2 weeks or so I didn't really notice that the product was…
  • I think the simple answer is portion control. You can eat anything just limit the amount and don't focus on "healthy" foods vs "unhealthy" foods.
  • I posted about this same topic recently asking for insight from people who have tried it and all I got were very judgemental opinions from people who haven't tried it. I have tried it for the last 2 weeks now. I definitely feel more energized and have less joint pain (I had a lot of foot and knee pain). I also have lost 6…
  • Seems possible. However, be careful about thinking you are burning 1000 calories in just 60 minutes of exercise, that must be one intense hour.
  • I did lyle McDonald's rfl back in 2008 or so, I definitely lost a considerable amount of weight in a short period of time. I wasn't even overweight yet in that period of my life. I will say shortly after that was when I started putting on all the weight I have gained. Sometimes i wonder if rfl messed with my metabolism or…

  • I wouldn't change anything yet. Sometimes when you have a big loss one week it may be mostly water, and maybe this week you are losing actual fat but retaining the water so weight no weight change. I would stay where your at and if no loss after three weeks then adjust.
  • Well that's why I'm on here trying to figure out what people who aren't trying to sell it who have tried it thought about it. Because like I said I ordered it before looking at the ingredients and now that I've reviewed them I don't get why it's any better than doing exactly what you mention.
  • I'm not trying to sell anything and I wasn't looking to this product for weight loss. Wow, people don't know how to read. Just trying to look for feedback on if the vitamins helped with general well being.
  • Neither of you answered my question about "personal experience" with it, I'm pretty sure I made it clear in my initial post that I'm skeptical and aware as with everything else it's most likely a waste of money. I don't understand why everyone is always in such a hurry to be so negative or critical.
  • Are you running on a treadmill or outside? Run at a pace that feels way to easy. I used to have the same problem until I wore a gps and found out I was running too fast and when I slowed down to my normal pace it was weird it felt so slow but after a few minutes that feeling goes away.
  • Why not eat 1300 cals and only go to gym once per day.
  • Considering your symptoms probably best to ask your doctor.
  • Not sure if this is the answer to your problems or not but Fitbit adds calories burned throughout the day. So if you look at it at like 1159pm you will see your total calories burned and hopefully calories in vs out will be more accurate.
  • I think listening to your Dr is your best bet. Mine had no problem telling me when I was putting weight on to quickly and gave me some tips. I will say I gained 40lbs with my pregnancy however it ended up being all baby (surprisingly delivered a 10lb baby) and fluid because 3 weeks post partum once all the swelling in my…
  • My diary is open.
