I log all my veggies - I tend to eat the same things a lot so I save them in My Meals or as Recipes, then I don't have to enter all the ingredients each time.

That's funny - we both have CCL starter kits! Well, I've been fighting my CCL tendencies and only have one... for now... And IT Crowd is awesome! So glad there's fellow fans here!

This has always been my favorite:

You should be thrilled! Proud! Accomplished! No embarrassment at all. You look great and have worked hard to shed those pounds. Keep it up!

OMG YES! And so talented. Doesn't he sound a bit like George Strait?
-
Lee Brice's song "A Woman Like You" definitely puts him in my Top 3! And I don't care if they look older. I still think George Strait is one of the sexiest men in country music - always looks so great in those Wranglers and cowboy hat!
-
Not gonna disagree on your choices but no Billy Currington or Eric Church?!?!
-
Congrats! Completely agree with the adaptability of the body. I literally went from sitting on the couch to graduating C25K to my first 5K this summer (planned for June). It's a great feeling of accomplishment and you should celebrate! Maybe get some new running shoes to celebrate!

I got one at Home Depot (the kind you cut to length - I think it was about $10) and it's a necessity for me because all I have are hardwood floors and there's so much impact from Insanity without it.
-
But STILL not on Andriod... ergh.
-
Agreed - no head hanging! That sounds like utopia to me (and I once took the train to Portland for no other reason than to visit Powells - three stories of books...).
-
As of this morning's weight I've lost 422 sticks of butter - ironic in a way because I'm lactose intolerant. Good thing I got rid of all that butter!
-
Ditto. MFP is a great addiction that I don't want to break! :drinker:
-
Something you encounter often?
-
 For me, much of what's been mentioned but I have to add raw meat, especially hamburger. I have to wear disposable gloves when I make patties or meatballs or have to handle it at all.
-
Don't be scared Molly - at least give it a try. Shaun T is very motivational and prompts you to take breaks and Beckers, anything can be modified. Just don't just as high and do modified pushups until you build the strength.
-
You look great! Look how thin your middle is! Congrats and keep up the great work!
-
sllida - the challenge runs from Monday to Sunday so be sure to sign up on the new thread and start counting your calories burned as of tomorrow.

I'll be in for week 28 for 4,000 calories burned.

I posted this on another thread about this as am just pasting it here - hope it helps answer your question! I haven't completed either program but have done workouts from P90X and am currently doing a CLX/Insanity hybrid but I used this site to help me decide ultimately -…

Will definitely be doing this today - it's going to be sunny here, which is rare, so I will get outside and go for a walk.

With higher impact stuff it's important to be sure your strap is tight enough. I tighten mine and then tuck it underneath my sports bra and have no problems. Be sure there's a good, constant connection to your skin and you shouldn't have issues.
-
A HRM if you want to know the calories burned during your workouts only - but if you're looking for something that shows your workouts and regular daily activity (including sleep) then look into the Fitbit or Body Media Fit.
-
Agreed! Where's my credit card?

Great job to those who already made goal! And it's great to see so many very close and making plans to get to goal tomorrow. Good luck all! Week 27 Weekly Goal: 4,000 Mon: 613 (Elliptical, Calisthenics, CLX Burn Circuit 1) Tues: 383 (Insanity Pure Cardio, Calisthenics) Wed: 635 (Calisthenics, Elliptical, CLX Burn Circuit…

Absolutely, when it comes to exercise - especially higher intensity exercises. But HRMs are not meant to be worn all day to track calories burned. If you get most of your workouts through the treadmill and lower impact workouts DVDs, it's probably not a big deal. But, like me, if you're doing high impact workouts (like…

Depends on the workout, but the higher impact/intense workouts I think would be best with "aerobics, high impact" or "circuit training". For the most accurate calories burned, get a heart rate monitor. A decent Polar can be purchased on Amazon for under $70. Just something to consider.
