I've worn these for years and found them to be both comfortable and secure (since I can't get earbuds to work with my ears, I've searched a lot for good over-ear headphones): http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Adjustable-Headphones-SHS4700-28/dp/B003DKL57G

Oh yeah - it gets icky (that's the professional term) from sweat and rubbing against your skin. I wash mine at least once a week in cold water - do not put in dryer though, let air dry. Also replace the battery in the receiver that attaches to the chest strap. I also take that off after each use and wipe it off so it…

I have a Polar FT7 that's about 2 years old; only ever replaced the battery and chest strap (still worked fine but I wanted the new one you don't have to get wet). What's dying about yours? Are you washing the chest strap regularly?

I had these in green and clear!

Do you ever get tired of hearing how amazing you are? No? Okay, you're amazing. Truly. And thank you for sharing your story, and your continuing story. Stay strong.

Sorry about your job man. :flowerforyou: On to your question: It's exercise, not rocket science; you can start over if you want to or pick up where you left off. There's really nothing magic about the program that you can't do the workouts off schedule. I vote you workout.

Problem identified. You need to accurately and consistently log your food. You gain weight when you're taking in more calories than you're expending. End of story. Read this: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/872212-you-re-probably-eating-more-than-you-think

You don't need the Potatology shakes to lose weight - just a calorie deficit. And you can make your own Potatology shakes at home for much less than buying from the company. And then you can make any flavor you like - butter, sweet or bacon!

This could be the best piece of advice shared on MFP today. Or ever.

I want to eat... so many of these.

P90X - and modify as needed - if it looks like the workout you'd enjoy doing. The workouts have different levels for almost all the exercises including a modifier for lower impact versions. You might surprise yourself and be able to do more than you think. ETA: Also check out P90X3 - same type of workouts but much shorter…

AdBlock FTW! I haven't seen online ads for a couple years. But a Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls sounds ah-mazing right now.

But not a Fitbit - doesn't track that... wait, what?

Totally in! I registered.

Did someone say, "No," yet? Oh, they did. Good. Yeah, no, that's not okay. ^ This.

100% this (well, 95% since I did a little bit of running while I was losing most of my weight, but it was the caloric deficit bit that really did the magic).

This is an important distinction between eating just to lose weight and eating to be healthier - thank you for posting about it. It's healthier to lose weight slowly and develop lasting habits and a good relationship with your food, understanding it's fuel and can also be fun! I would rather treat my body well with lots of…
