Did Day 9 L1 last night, and Day 10 L1 this morning...Level 2 here I come!

NOT Zumba for Wii, I bought it and don't like it at all. The tuition part of it isn't helpful and the beginners workout was confusing as hell as a result. Thumbs down from me!

Just finished Day 8 of Level 1...and dabbled in Level 2 to see what I have to look forward to! Those bicycle sit-ups have got much easier (while still being tough!) and I can really see the difference in my stamina. So I weighed and measured myself and these are the results so far, compared to last Saturday: Weight: -1kg…

I doubled up yesterday, but I haven't been sore at all. It doesn't sound like it's a good idea for you to do this or you might need to skip a few more days to recover.

Nikki, don't be daft...sometimes life gets in the way of things we have planned. You made healthy food choices and you made time for exercise. There's nothing to beat yourself up about and definitely no need to feel bad.

Have you thought about hypnotherapy? If you can associate chocolate with something disgusting that you would never eat, then you won't want to eat the chocolate. I love chocolate, and can keep on eating it long after I've satisfied a craving. I can also decide not to eat it though. I sometimes have dark chocolate and find…

Day 7 L1 done :) I've started doing half and half real push ups and Anita push ups. Also getting fed up with side effects of jumping jacks so I've invented my own whole body exercise to do during those sections!

They are smiling because they are being paid to smile!

Day 6 Level 1 for me this morning...might repeat it later to make up for missing yesterday.
-
Jumping Jacks...can do them (not that I enjoy it) but is there a low impact, but still effective alternative? Are they in L2 and L3 as well? TMI alert...since childbirth some parts don't quite perform as they used to and Jumping Jacks have an unwanted side effect!

Day 5 Level 1 for me today - got up at 5.50am so I could fit it in before work :o

Day 4 Level 1 done. Is it just me, or does anyone else keep expecting someone to walk down the hallway and use the water dispenser or the lockers you can see at the back of the room?!
-
L1 D4 for me tonight, waiting til I've got the house to myself! I use 2kg weights (4.4lbs) and although I can mostly manage, the side lunges with forward eye-level raise are almost impossible - I usually drop one after a while and use the other with both hands. I left the car at home today, walked to high school with my…

I know I can't do it every day for the next 30 days because I'm on holiday for a week in that time! However, I will do it every day that I can, have done 3 times in last 4 days. I need to get up by 6am to do it before work and I didn't manage that this morning, so I'm slipping already! I pledge to exercise every day even…

If you're 21 I'm guessing you don't have kids? My stomach does that and it would do it if I were 20lbs lighter (I'm 61kg, don't know what that is in pounds) but it's because I have had two babies. It must be even more disheartening if you've not had kids! What kind of ab work do you do? I've just started 30 Day Shred in…

I keep the scale in the cupboard near the bathroom, so although it's not staring at me every morning I see it when I open the cupboard to get towels out. I weigh about 5x a week but have only recorded once in three weeks because my weight went up and down so much. At the moment I'm 100g heavier than the last time I…

I'm in a similar situation, since joining my weight has fluctuated between my starting point of 62kg and twice it has gone down to 60.4kg then back up again! I've just started doing 30 Day Shred DVD (so many inspiring pics on here) and I'm trying to be generally active eg walking and cycling rather than driving when…

West London, not far from Heathrow Airport, England...and I'm one of a very small number of English people who has been to Kansas on holiday!
-
Wow, what a journey...you look great (and in the pics without the cap you look years younger!)
-
That diet coke guy would be jealous of you! Well done.

I did Day 2 this morning. I also weighed myself (400g more than last week, hardly surprising given what I've eaten) and measured myself and put distasteful 'before' photos in my profile. However, just realised that I'm away for a week beginning 22nd Oct so there won't be much shredding going on, but I can run and swim.…

Wow, you certainly do!
-
Count me in too, I just did the workout for the first time tonight. I can still feel it in my knees!
-
Sleepytexan, same here - I'm also 43!
-
sleepytexan: 25?
-
Wow...never mind almost, you are already! Well done.
-
PS...re your diary, the thing that struck me was the lack of veggies!

Sounds a lot like me...started two weeks ago, lost 1.4kg by last Saturday, spent last Sat night away in a hotel so big dinner and buffet breakfast. Fair enough, I regained a little, lost a little, it crept up and down until finally this morning I'm down by 1.4kg again and weigh the same as I did last Saturday! I figure it…

I use Vitabiotics iron capsules as well as multivitamins (3 for 2 in Tesco when I got mine).
