Are you having any unmanageable symptoms? If not, I'd advise against using it. It wasn't for me. It brought back periods and cramping, so I stopped it after only one month.
-
Yep, menopause helped one thing at least. LOL
-
Yes, I was diagnosed with it. I had severe cramps my entire life, and found out I had this in my late 40s.

This is very interesting, because I also had my gallbladder removed, and that's about when my weight started to gradually go up. I was thin my whole life before that. hmmmm....Why is alcohol a no-no after your gall bladder is removed?

My condolences.....:frown:
-
Yeah, it was so disappointing, because the hot flashes were gone too. I don't know what other options to try at this point.

I'm 53. I tried it, but it brought back my periods and cramping. I guess I'm going natural, and just hope the hot flashed ease off soon.
-
Awesome!

Anyone else?

Better to laugh, than to cry. LOL! Welcome to the group!

Just curious; is this treatment expensive?
-
I feel ya girlfriend! Whine away!! I'll whine with you.

Welcome! I didn't have the mood swings, but I have hot flashes. I decided against HRT, because the periods and cramping came back. It's an individual decision really. Good luck!

I am just suffering through the hot flashes. That is my only complaint. I don't really want to be on something, that I don't trust either. Be careful with the natural remedies too, as they carry their own risks.

Oh I hear ya! Thirty years ago, I could eat a horse, and weighed in at 110 soaking wet!!! Grrrr....
-
I only did one month. My period and cramps came back, so I decided it wasn't worth it. The only worriesome menopausal symptom that I have is hot flashes, and I'm hoping they get better with time. It just wasn't worth it for me to be on the HRT. Good luck!

How about a handful of salted almonds for a snack? They have the sea salt versions in the stores.

You are beautiful inside and out, and have a beautiful family to boot!:flowerforyou:

I would say cutting some carbs might help, or else just give yourself some more time.
-
Try putting in 0.16

The sweating might be hot flashes, but it sounds like you are doing great!! Welcome to the group!!

Everyone be leary of the Black Cohosh. It can be damaging to the liver, if taken long term. My gynecologist doesn't recommend it, for any longer than 6 months at a time.

Even in the middle of the night! LOL! :blushing:
-
Yes, what supplements are you speaking of?
-
Wow~Great work!
-
So cute! Great job!

You sound like me. I would be thrilled to lose just 20 pounds, to put me within a healthier BMI range. I've lost this much before, but yet again, the food wins! LOL!
