Just finished 4A today. I felt like it was a big day because I graduated up to the squat rack (as opposed to holding a DB in my hands). Squats 10lbs -> 55lbs Rows 20lbs -> 50lbs step up 10lbs -> 40lbs Advice: I feel like I still struggle with the push ups. I can do the reps on my knees. I tried doing them on my toes today…

I ran to the top of THE hill. The evil hill that has taunted me since I moved to the neighborhood. I made it all the way up, running, no stopping.

I once had a ring that was too big and a jeweler gave me a little insert that fit into the ring and made it more snug. Swing by a jeweler sometime and ask if they have anything like that.

Sorry in advance but I have to dork out a little. Cheese may have sugar in it. Bacteria will "eat" the sugar (lactose) in milk in the normal cheese making process, but the bacteria doesn't necessarily eat all the sugar so there may be some left. How much sugar is left in the final cheese is very dependent on what type of…

I think most people log their reps and weight under the strength section and then log the calories under the cardio section. I think it is called "strength training" or something similar in the cardio search feature.

Saving for when I have pictures to post. Just started lifting a few weeks ago.

I'm here 36F,5'4" Just started lifting in the last couple of weeks. I'm doing NROLW. Looking at getting my overall %BF down from 35% (boo) I ligt three times a week and do some interval training or jogging for the cardio during the week, weekends I try to do hiking. I'm up for more friends if you would like to add me.

Do you take it with food? I have found that sometimes if there is zinc or other minerals in the multivitamin I get a bit nauseous.

Wow, I thought I was the only one that was ever fed that whole lifting heavy is bad for the uterus thing. My mother was convinced of it my whole life (and still is). I was never allowed, in her presence, to lift anything in the least bit heavy lest I damage my uterus and any future grandchildren she may have. She would…

36 5'4.5" need to lose about 30 pounds I just started a few weeks ago, lost a couple of pounds. Just started lifting weights, so I am focusing less on weight loss and more on decreasing %BF and inches. Friend me if you'd like. I can always use extra motivation!

Good job! I'm about two weeks into stage 1. I am really starting to feel it. I have had some help from one of the trainers at the gym to help with my form. Nevertheless my back is a little twingy today after my morning work out, so I am going to have to be careful.

Hello from Bay Area.

This sounds really good. One quick question, what do you mean by "1 cup sweetener of your choice"...fruit juice or something?

I had issue with digestion, when I was trying to figure out what was causing my problems I found a meat free diet pretty much fixed me. So gave up all meats except for fish for a year to give my body time to heal whatever was going on. Now I eat meat again on occasion, but usually eat red meat less than once a week, and…

I once (briefly) had a job translating erotic poetry and text from Spanish to English. It was for an erotic dinner theater.

arugula, avacado, peas, egg, beets, radish... anything that came from our garden automatically makes it taste better :o) for dressing: usually lemon, pepper and maybe a small amount of olive oil or balsamic vinagrette

I just started NROL. There is one for men, one for women, but I think they are in essence the same thing. It starts you out easy, explains the how and why, pictures even so you know what to do. It also provides training schedule/guides and log sheets. I've been in it about 2 weeks, and I'm really feeling it, and loving it.…

85% dark chocolate, only about 50 calories for 1 square. Eat it then do some jumping jacks, or vise-versa if you feel guilty. Chocolate is not evil.

Knuckles work, no wrist pain and hey, makes me feel a little more hard-core, so it is a win win.

I've had mine for about a week and have been happy with it.

Thanks!

Thanks, I'll try out the dumbells that's something I haven't tried before. I've tried lots of different hand positions before and struggled with the pain (bad pain). I also read somewhere else to just do try it on my knuckles.....

You're welcome.
