  • Welcome KFurley, no such thing as behind here! If you read the 'thoughts on schedule' topic you'll understand. Everyday is just a feedback on where everyone is and what they want to share about that experience, ask questions and find support. Looking forward to read from you on here! -Elke
  • ??? do you not have the Ripped in 30 DVD? that one has 4 different weeks of workouts. the 30 Day Shred had only 3 different sessions that you were supposed to do for 10 days each. I'm confused now:huh: -Elke
  • Extra cardio, that's awesome! I still can barely catch my breath during her cardio sessions as it is. Kudos, Dyiaane!
  • Anj, yes it is the same workout for the first week, and you can do that for anywhere from 5-7 days. then you move to the 2nd week and so on. The before work is what at least one of my MFPals is doing too. just be forewarned that you may/most likely WILL sweat buckets during. so you want to allow some 10-15 minutes to cool…
  • Just finished the 30DS last Tuesday and started Ripped in 30 today. I did not have a significant weight loss DURING the shred [on the contrary, I gained 2.5 stubborn pounds that didn't drop until AFTER I was done!] My success could be measured in inches mostly, as I felt my pants get baggy especially in my legs. Also I…
  • [qote]Excited to start week 2 though jillians voice makes me wana slap her now. [/quote] @Sky, channel that wanna-slap-her-energy! Glad you joined even though you are ahead of us all. -and also @Nakaiki When I started the 30 Day Shred, I gained 2.5 stubborn pounds too. They never really left until I was done with the whole…
  • OK, mission accomplished! Did my first day of week 1 workout -didn't die, only felt like it a few times here and there. Had to remind myself, I can endure most anything for 30 seconds intervals. I think it'll be a few days before my side raises are stellar, let alone do them on an OUTSTRETCHED!!!!! arm? -you gotta be…

  • Respect, my dear. You did GREAT!
  • Glad to have you. Maybe we can hear some of your experience with it. I hope you read the first thread on here on how we plan to report and exchange on a daily basis. Seems everyone is doing other workouts at the same time, so we will all be at different levels. Looking forward to hear from you tomorrow! -Elke
  • Awesome way to TELL your body what you want it to do, and not letting it let you doubt yourself! What an outstanding accomplishment (and revelation)! Elke
  • Wowser, LenGirl75! What amazing results! I'm proud of you for sticking with it!

  • Ladies, a BIG part of seeing these kind of results is the workout program LadyBb7 is following on top of watching her food intake. The Jillian Michaels programs are pretty hardcore and produce these kinds of results. LadyBb7 has been doing the first half of the Ripped in 30. ( Myself, i have just finished the 30 Day Shred…
  • I have yet to read the tutorial on posting pictures. I had my husband take pictures every 10 days but can't really "see" a big change. However, I can SO tell in my jeans and am really happy  about that. Toning and conditioning is what I was after. If I'm brave enough, you may see pics of me on here after all! I…

  • :flowerforyou: Wow, Kai85, I can see some muscle definition on your shoulders and arms. I think your results are fantastic. (Looks like your puppy wants some recognition as well!) Best of luck on your next workout endeavor. I'll try the Ripped in 30 next (starting Friday to be exact) When that's done I want to mix it up a…

  • Weekends are always a challenge for me, bc I get lazy. Got it done before noon though. Wouldn't dream of missing any day now that the finish line is so close. Sorry Kai85 about your knee still giving you trouble. Mine have been so much better. Haven't had to take any ibuprofen this week. I think my knees are getting…

  • Did my day 24. I put the DVD on my iPad to have while I travel with my husband for the next few days. I'll have to get creative for weights (especially for that last strength move) Keep it up ladies, the end is in sight! -Elke Has anyone else made any plans on going into the Ripped in 30 after we're done? HKovich.…

  • Don't worry so much about L3. It is harder only because it is different [more high intensity jumping type exercises, I'd say] If you remember before L2, you were probably apprehensive too, and now you are doing it. L1 and L2 well prepare you for L3, by now your arms and core are much stronger for all the extra plank type…
  • Like weekdays, I get motivated to exercise earlier in the day:bigsmile: Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

  • [Day21=D3L3] getting better at it, but circuit 3 rockstar jumps take the LAST bit of juice... Oh yeah, the weighted, planked row/leg lift combo towards the end -brings me to my knees, no really, literally...HA! I shall conquer you before the 30 days are over. -Elke

  • Great reminder, thanks. Going for the long haul!
  • I'm in the same boat with HKovich, finishing the shred on Feb 7th. Have you made definite plans for starting the Ripped in 30? I'm friends with Determined1221, also interested to start the Ripped after our shred. Let me know if you could wait a week to start and we'll join you. -Elke in Missouri Created by MyFitnessPal.com…
  • To be honest, I DID look ahead a few days ago to mentally prepare myself. The result was that I pretty much agonized over how hard it would be. [today was my day 19, but D1 of L3] When I finally did it, it wasn't as hard as I imagined -now don't get me wrong, it WAS harder, but mostly cardio-harder I would say. I warned my…

  • Day 19, check! This was my first day of level3. I had a suspicion it had gotten much bigger in my head than it would be in reality. So the dread is over, I managed fine. (Hey Anita, good to work with you for a bit) Watch your knees ladies, there is quite a bit of higher impact jumping, but all doable [I didn't say well]…
