i have the wii fit plus and i just discovered there's an exercise for stepping while watching regular tv lol...so i could watch my fav show and still exercise with great distractions!

i had that problem at first too. i think it was my shoes! either they're too tight or not tight enough, sock thickness, etc. ive switched shoes and had no problems now with any pair of socks..maybe put bandaids to endure it?

yeah i take super B complex or something like that along with my One a Day women's mind and body...i notice a difference when i dont take it. i feel its safer than a prescribed "happy pill" lol. and yeah pee will be bright yellow! but i drink so much water daily it cleans it out!

i have a watch hrm. and i only use it for workouts to see what ive burned. they typically are designed just for that use. now if you have a bodybugg or something similar that can be worn throughout the day to see a total burn. but they're expensive!

i know!! i was really upset when i went through my cough drops and they all had atleast 15 cals each! (about 4 diff kinds!) but i HAD to have a couple!! i think any medicines should be calorie free. its not fair!

sweeteners aren't good for you. doesn't stop me from using splenda when necessary though. i dont add sugar to my cereals at all. my mom added sugar to honey bunches of oats one time and i didnt understand why. its got honey in it. it was sweet already! ...

I agree, i do think that establishment is a great thing. and thanks to you for taking some time to help others! I do wish they'd look at how much MORE they could do by offering truly healthy fast food options! they could change how the world looks at fast food! :-)

i had one and sold it a while back simply because the elliptical is not for me! its a great piece to have when u want both pieces but not enough space!

they're never close for me. I just got a hrm and it shows 100 or more LESS than what the machine or mfp says I've burned. big bummer!

we have a wii and the kids love the fit plus and zumba...and for Christmas I got them the Nickelodeon Fit and they LOVE it plus i can do it along with them because its fun! lol.... (my kids are 3.5 and 5)

I think this has been the hardest thing for me! taking time for myself!! I have 2 kids and a husband that needs care like a kid (LOL) so I'm always thinking of their needs and not mine, but for the first time I am taking time for myself and I'm happier!! It's a challenge but it's a good one! Good luck to u also!

I've had it for 3 years and blamed my weight gain on it. but now that i'm actively trying to lose weight im having no problems! I've lost 50 lbs in 6 months :-)

if you are exercsing you should be eating those extra calories (or a good bit of them) being under 1200 for the day and exercising will not help you to lose weight..so make sure you're getting atleast 1200 and eating back some of what you exercise and make sure you drink plenty water you'll see a change within a few days!…

how under on calories are you? you may not be getting enough which will cause you to not lose....and yes i believe inadequate sleep will affect weight loss as well... when i cant sleep i take a natural sleep aid (melatonin) and it does me just fine, i dont feel groggy the next morning. worth trying!

i would go with the suggestion you get here. 1200 is the minimum you should be getting and then it adds in extras you acquire from exercise. I find it to be accurate and ive lost alot by following it! and congrats on getting engaged!!!! :-)

I still weigh myself daily because im just curious as how it fluctuates from day to day. (trying to learn my body and how it reacts to water, etc) but i only do an official weigh in once a week and i do it on mondays so i dont blow the weekend!

it could be a number of things. first of all, you're just beginning, I think it's normal to see a gain before a loss because your body is adjusting to new rules. secondly it could be water weight if you've upped your H2O intake. i wouldnt worry over a few ounces. just keep following mfp and im sure you'll see a loss this…

thats how i think now too. when i look at foods all i see are the numbers lol. i cant even enjoy peanut butter knowing how high the calories are! even if they are good calories!

i agree with the first response. you had such great weight loss the first week it may be slower the second then pick back up...bodies change daily/weekly. dont get frustrated just keep going! as long as you're eating the minimum and exercising, and eating those calories back you should be doing fine. and congrats on a…

yeah ive heard alot of things about eating more for breakfast and lighter as the day goes on but i find that i have more control during the day with breakfast and lunch than i do at dinner time because i have to cook for a man that eats NO veggies or fruits so i try to save majority of my calories for dinner!
