I have a glass of red wine every night to unwind. I always allow myself 180 calories for the evening, it's my daily reward for watching my cals and doing my exercise and it's not affected my weight loss or toning up at all so far (1 year) I'm sure if I cut out the wine I'd lose weight faster but to be honest, I'd probably…

I was searching for Body Pump threads and found this. I wondered if the research I found online about it was correct. For my weight (approx 150lb) apparently I apparently burn around 348cals for a 50 minute class (NB. I would rather under estimate than over estimate cals burned, so I always subtract 10 mins for every class…

Savoury Pies and tarts. Of any variety. Anything with pastry, in fact.

Not gonna be half as nice as bread but.....Ryvita/Rye bread/Rice cakes? Or what-free bread. Technically that's not bread-bread, plus it costs so bloody much that maybe you wont end up eating way too much of it in one go (at least that's how I see it) :grumble:

I think she is beautiful, she does look like the wind could snap her in half unfortunately but maybe that's the way her body naturally is, maybe she hates being this thin (doubt that though!) Someone sent me this link this morning - quite entertaining:…

Thanks for sharing, been wanting to buy these for quite some time, couldnt believe how expensive they are though! How long did it take for them to arrive? Also - would you say that for the money you paid, it was worth it? And was a 200g portion filling and satisfying? Is one packet one portion or two? x

Basically a creamy curried chicken. Usually used as a sandich filling or in a salad. All you need to make it "curried" is a bit of generic curry powder. (I use medium) To make it slightly sweeter and richer, mango chutney is added. To make it creamy, use normal Greek yoghurt.

Well my goal is set to 1200 cals per day to lose 0.5 lb per week.....say if I burn 400 cals in a day, my goal is then raised to 1600 but I might only end up eating around 1400 total, which means only a deficit of 200 cals. Still, that should result in slow steady weight loss and I believe it is working. I never eat less…

Oh YES! Bacon and maple are a winning combo - I'll have to do ham or chicken and honey with cottage cheese/low fat cheese + a fried egg white - I'm hungry just writing this...

I'm going to make the original OP's ones but using wholemeal flour instead & then filling them with chicken breast and melted cottage cheese for dinner then a lemon and honey one for dessert, can't wait

Loads of veg + lean meats - courgettes, red onion, peppers, leeks, spinach (with a bit of nutmeg & garlic yum), chicken breast, fine green beans, asparagus, fish - omlettes are so versatile, but mix and match all of the above (or use all ingredients at same time except tuna and chciken!) Saute the vegetables first till…

Thanks HPB, Did your friend try these exact vests? It's a KGB deal & pretty cheap. I already have Zaggora Hot Pants and an Everlast slimmer belt which I wear to spin class, body pump & whilst cycling long distance and it does ever so slightly help slim the waist and thighs down albeit only temporarily (it's just lost water…

Duckie - I'm not really an expert on bikes, I just know how to ride them, but I do know my hybrid has 6 gears. Not sure about the whole back or front wheels thing, I'm afraid :blushing: I ride on pretty uneven terrain, grass, mud, hills, dirt tracks etc.. not just pavement routes (I'd say half and half) but I will…

Yeah I always cycle in the same gear - 5th.

Thaks Lucy - when I last measured them, they were half an inch smaller than a couple months before. I have always had shapely calves so it's not a big surprise that they'll be even more defined now I am more active. A couple I know commented on my quads recently saying they are looking really muscley (my thighs have…
