A lot of friends swear by this little trick but ONE VERY IMPORTANT FACT TO BEAR IN MIND PEOPLE: Lemon juice (majorly diluted or not) causes acid erosion in your teeth, so be careful with your intake or even consider usng a straw so it misses touching the teeth completely. Also do not brush your teeth for at least an hour…

Are they not processed though and don;t they cost more? (Egg whites in a carton) I have seen them in Waitrose and they are pretty expensive, then again so are free range eggs, this is one expensive diet! There are several articles which suggest a limited yolk intake, could they all be wrong? Then there are articles which…

It appears that LOVING BP is the general consensus  How long did it take you to lose the 3 stone and what else did you incorporate into your fitness regime? How many BP classes did you do a week?

BATISTE Dry shampoo - it's like a really fine powder and works a treat, adding body and volume to your unwashed hair. I face the same dilemma as you but this is a God send for me and smells good too. Your natural oils will still work their magic in your hair so it is a win win situation.

As I am starting to discover! Ouch! x

That's a brilliant idea, I absolutely LOVE chocolate milk so that's a double bonus. I am happy to continue to exercise other parts of my body but squats and lungs are out of the question until possibly tomorrow if they have recovered by then. Glad to know I've given those muscles a good workout - my butt already looks more…

Oh my goodness I am exactly the same! I have been eating really healthily and consciously since end of March and been going to the gym 3 times a week and cycling 5 x a week since beginning of April....do I weigh any less? NO!! However, my body shape has visibly changed and I have noticed the cellulite is diminishing which…

Hey, I'm also form the UK - need fellow motivation too - why not add me Craig x

I wish I could do lunchtime gym classes but I dont have enough time to get there and back. OKAY I am still struggling to sit down without sounding like a 95 year old, it is still pretty painful - I wonder if this means that I over exerted the muscles and tore the fibers? I missed last night's body pump and did 15 minutes…

Thanks for that tip, will certainly give it a go! Honestly, I am open to all opinions and if I am told I am doing something wrong I'd rather know than not. You do realise though that if you ate 5 eggs a day, that's 35 egg yolks per week = super high cholesterol?

Does ANYONE have any first hand experience with this? Is wheat free brown bread more filling and satisfying hunger-wise than normal wholemeal bread? I am not wheat intolerant but so many friends swear by the wheat free diet for successful weight loss.

Thanks for your answer, I never time my hard boiled eggs - I shall from now on if it makes a difference to smell. I had a few in the fridge which were cooled for 24 hours (yesterday) and they didnt produce much of a smell, nobody noticed, but today for lunch i ate fresh boiled eggs (fresh as in this morning) and everyone…

PS. Does anybody know how to avoid the boiled egg stinking so much? Is there a trick when cooking or cooling it? I eat 3 in the office during the day and the smell wafts and it is somewhat embarrassing! The looks I get are rather amusing.

mmm quite like a spanish omlette? sounds great. loving these new ideas people, thank you.

one thing i am unsure of is on my food diary, it says I have gone way over my reccomended daily protein intake, and that's just with a bit of lean ham and around 4 egg whites, is this not conducive to weight loss?
-
I shall do, maybe just once a week til I buold my strength up and stop aching so much! There's one woman in the class who is so super skinny it's almost painful to watch her lift weights, and she goes regularly and has no visible muscle...so I guess that kind of answers my own question. As long as BP helps me to lose…

That sounds delicious, kond of like a tuna coronation, I'm so gonna try that one (omitting the raisins as I am not a fan, might add chopped apple or mango for a small injection of sweetness)

Yes they are full of goodness, great for your hair and skin and have vital elements for a healthy lifestyle - but there is the danger of too many yolks = high cholesterol. Over here in the UK I think the government's health guidelines suggest you eat no more than 3 or 4 yolks per week max. Such a shame but high cholesterol…

Very inspiring. Was it an arduous process losing this much weight?
-
How long did it take until you noticed a visible change in your body definition? How many times a week do you go? I doubt I'd manage twice a week. I went on Tuesday, there's another class to go to tonight but there's no way I would be able to do it as am in so much pain (went to 2 classes of body conditioning and yoga last…

No not at all. I too thought that it was only for the super-fit but I have much older women in my class and some of them are able to lift double the weights that I lift, they are amazing and it is probably due to them taking this class regularly. It's actually a good class, wouldnt call it my favourite as I enjoy body…

Really appreciating the tips everyone, thank you so much! I know it feels so wriong chucking out the precious yolk, I love it but it's just not conducive to losing weight if i had more than a few a week. I noticed that the times I have run out of eggs, breakfast was just toast (I hate sweet breakfasts, got to be savoury…

Before: Brek: 2 thick slices white farmhouse toast with butter & a mocha, or 2 slices wholemeal toast with low fat cream cheese, a tiny bit of hellmans mayo and a couple handfuls of sliced cherry tomatoes Lunch: anything and everything, often chicken and biscuits and salad, or catering sandwiches and cheese and ham…

that's great to know, i have reduced my calorie and fat intake massively the past few months, still not seeing hugely noticeable results but holding out for the day when it pays off and i DO see a big change in my weight. i dont weigh myself much, only twice a year or so, maybe i should start.....
-
HAHA! I am starting to know the feeling!
-
I couldnt agree more, well said.

But surely you have to treat yourself every now and then? Life is for living not for deprivation! I let my hair down once a week, it's not a sin. You have to reward yourself, you only live once. I love naughty foods so looking forward to my treat is like a huge motivational kick up the backside which i sometimes need.

YES!! Sitting down on the toilet is high on impossible with aches like these :) It's great you girls enjoy this class so much, almost every single review I;d ever read about Body pump, was positive, with every person ranting and raving about how much they LOVE it. I enjoy the class because it goes by pretty quickly and…
