Naughty but Nice Nutella Layer cake with fruit & veg..... http://www.theolivenotes.com/2011/02/world-nutella-day-11.html Nutella is heavenly and I also like to dip sliced apples into it or eat it with my finger straight out of the jar - or when it melts on hot granary toast and is all warm and softened....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…

Light salad cream (very low fat and cal)

:noway: I eat lots of protein but don't suffer from bad breath (my OH would definitely tell me if I did) where did you hear this info?

^^ What she said ^^ :smokin:

Thank you for that :flowerforyou:

I drink a glass of red wine almost every evening as long as I've done my daily exercise and before I eat dinner. I have always logged it and as long as it it within your calorie goal and you're maintaining a healthy enough diet and regular exercise, you can most certainly lose weight. So many people have differing opinions…

This happened to me at 5am Saturday night/Sundaymorning....unknown number......turns out the caller actually knew my name and was saying the dirtiest, most offensive things to me on the phone. They called twice and after they said my name - and some really overly sexual stuff, I freaked out and my OH took the phone and…

bumping this badboy - wow.

"trying to be cute" I know exactly what you mean, *some* girls do that purely because they want to look dainty in front of their date (and yes, needless to say some do it for calorie control reasons or because they actually love salads of course, at least they won't steal food from your plate) I have been guilty of…

I like your open mindedness. My OH is of the same opinion as you, though I literally cannot physically eat as much as he does or else I'd burst. I usually have 1/3 of the food I cooked and he'd have the remaining 2/3...it works well.

That's excellent

Totally agree! Each to their own etc....

I am SO making this! It sounds very similar to chaat, (Indian & Pakistani street food/snack) which I absolutely love. Only your cornflake version sounds a lot less fattening than the puri veriosn which is deep fried to make it crispy....great idea.

Exactly the same with me. I continued to cycle every other day for a few minutes to get to the shops etc, and swam for a couple of days on holiday but no gym. Got back to it (gym) yesterday, absolutely killed me and I felt close to fainting but today I feel so much better! Here's to regular exercise :drinker:

I suppose white sugar for example is considered a bad carb, as is alcohol and refined carbs like white bread, pasta etc. I would imagine that carbs such as sweet potatoes, quinoa, brown rice, fruits and such like are considered good carbs. I'm not a nutritionist but this is the way I see it. I do of course love bad carbs,…

I'm 5"3 and a half (the all important half!) and I started at 157lb. I have now reached 150 - 151lb. It has taken almost a year of lots of exercise (well at least 30 mins 5 x a day, then some days 2.5 hours) and calorie counting but it is definitely paying off. Inches, wise, I have gone from a 14 - 16 (trouser size) to a…

Do you know what is even better than fish and chip shop chips? McCain's Homefries. Oh my God they are better than any other oven chips that are baked not fried (I have never been a fan of oven chips) they even taste like they've been triple cooked, saves on a lot of calories too!

that looks like an allergic reaction, definitely. does it sting?

I'm sure I did this last week.......

Thanks all. I've decided I will take them back and get properly fitted running shoes because I am pretty sure, as Brian suggested, I have an over-pronation and I think that could lead to serious injury if wearing incorrect shoes, not really worth the risk. Surely, also something under £20 is not going to be as good as a…

I think it'd still taste great using 3 or 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg....bump-worthy recipe!

Try using cauliflower rice instead of normal rice (or do half-half) which is a good start :)

bump (my arms are my trouble zone, they won't shrink!)

Thanks for this advice, I'd like to try it but I might get a physio to teach me first though before I attempt at doing this myself, wouldn't want to risk worsening the problem.

I love this too, but I use it for baking fat free brownies or for the very occasional proper hot chocolate or chocolate fondue (for dipping chunks of fruit, as a treat)
