I'd also quite like to know this :)

 I am so with you on that one! It's the men who walk up to the mirror in full view of as many people as possible, lift up their vests to admire their abs, stroke their chests and stomach and gush over themselves for ages that come across as big headed....or the ones that chuck the weights against the wall when their…

2 hard-boiled eggs - whites only, sliced + 2 ryvitas....+ 7.5g smear of heinz extra-light salad cream on each ryvita!! = 108 cals and 1g fat only. ETA: boiled eggs really keep me full for a long time because of the high protein content - try this :)

^^Agree^^ I like that eating pattern, much better than going 4+ hours with no food which a lot of people do during the day.

I feel incredibly light headed when I arrive at the office after cycling in when I have not eaten something first. This tells me that my body requires fuel before I exercise. Everyone's different though!

Half my breakfast at 8am and then the other half (usually half a wheat and oat bagel with a boiled egg white or two) at 11am. Lunch is at 2-ish Snack at 4pm Gym 5:15pm & maybe an egg white to tie me over till dinner after the workout Dinner = whenever I get home and cook it - usually too late to mention!! It works for me…

Believe it or not, some men really love a camel-toe/fupa - there are even websites dedicated to them and it is very common to have when overweight. It usually, more often than not, lessens as you lose weight and becomes significantly flatter. However, for some, they will always have a bit of a protruding 'V'egion no matter…

I'm not sure is someone has posted this already (too many pages to go through) but: Based on the body weight of a 150-lb woman..... Kissing: 68 calories per hour Undressing: 8+ calories total Massaging: 80+ calories per hour Having Sex: 144+ calories per half-hour Giving Oral Sex: 100 calories per half-hour Using Your…

If you want to get up at 4:50am every day of the week, then do it, but dont over-exert your muscles, they need to rest. Maybe Sat & Sun go for a swim or do much lighter forms of exercise (pilates or aquajogging) to repair the muscles as previous poster said.

You can keep on being active on weekends if you want but give yourself at least a semi-rest by just doing lighter exercising on the weekends. (Personally I try to do gym on Mon, Wed, & Fri and do yoga at home on weekends, it's really helping and my muscles seriously need time to rest after classes like body pump anyway!)…

I find that when food is too spicy, it ends up numbing my tastebuds! *which I guess would prevent me from eating as much....good idea
-
If eating spicy food majorly helped people lose weight, we'd all be on the chilli pepper diet! It is supposed to aid someone who is already eating healthily and exercising regularly...but then these often are "scientific breakthroughs" and in a few months time, wind up being "diet myths". Here's an article from 2010...…

Do you feel healthy/are you excercising/eating healthily and are you happy with what you see in the mirror? This is what is important. You look great - not too thin and certainly not overwight, judging by your photo.

absolutely agree, well said!

I often work up a sweat when I do housework, and without the central heating on - I must be doing my job(s) well then
-
I am the same, when I get on all fours to scrub the kitchen floor, hoover the stairs and rest of house, lift loads of washing up and down the 2 flights of stairs in big bundles, squatting, bending, lifting etc....how is this not a form of exercise? I definitely log it. If I hadn't bothered to exercise on that day but know…

Such great recipes and suggestions, you guys have been most helpful, I really appreciate your input everyone. I'll give them all a try, both savory and sweet ones, they all sound delicious. Next post, Greek yoghurt. Thank you! :drinker:

I LOVE this idea! In fact I did this last night with my own home cooked meal - I saved half of the normal portion for lunch for tonight. I'll just add more green beans to bulk it out, I love those things.

Even Nettle Tea is amazing at helping to trick the body into feeling fuller - I dont know why I dont do this more often!
-
Thanks pope - quite carbacious but sounds delicious - will attempt making this over the holidays :)
-
....on the other hand, I seem to have taken the other route - & am wishing for some much needed kitchen utensils: knife sharpener, zester, grater, mezzaluna etc. Oh and a yoga brick.

Mmmmmm found some great ideas here for those who may be interested! http://www.stumptuous.com/the-cottage-cheese-page

Thank you for this lovely recipe, it sounds delicious - I am going to make this with a couple layers of blind baked filo to trick myself into thinking it's an actual pie-pie! :) PS can you make this using just egg whites or will it dramaticaly change the texture and moistness?

Apparently the Davina workouts are seriously effective. Hard work of course but very very good.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=davina+new+dvd&tag=googhydr-21&index=aps&hvadid=7736254206&ref=pd_sl_7sobzquf5q_b

30DS - only had it for a couple of weeks but it's amazing how fast it works - plus only 20 mins each workout :)

Thanks for the advice - all of this is good to know :flowerforyou:

Actually I'd love someone else paying for my membership. That's a lot more helpful than just saying "You are over weight"

Mmmm it does! Thanks :)
