Green tea is awesome! The only bad side effect would be a sensitivity to caffeine I guess, but there is decaf available. I know for sure Lipton has decaf green tea. Happy sipping!

My non-vegetable eating fiance is constantly trying to tell me that spaghetti and pizza sauce count as a veggie, lycopene is awesome, blah blah blah. I'm thinking, okay, maybe if the marinara is homemade, but your standard jar of sauce doesn't seem like it would cut it. Haven't I heard about the sugar and salt hiding in…

Have you tried Skinny Cow ice cream? It comes in ice cream sticks so you don't have to eat it out of a measuring cup or anything at all! They are seriously low in calories (the mini-fudge pops are as low as 50 calories and the ice cream sandwiches are about 150). The peanut butter chocolate ice cream sandwiches are 150…

Oh, chicken wings. In my idea of heaven, you have chicken wings, celery, blue cheese, and beer. And you never get too full and you never get too drunk! Sometimes what scratches my itch are boneless, skinless chicken breast tenderloins with a mix to taste of Frank's Red Hot, garlic powder, and butter. I try to only put a…

How great!! Good work!

Skinny Cow chocolate truffle ice cream bars. 100 calories! Or the Skinny Cow candy.

Same account- learned the hard way that one person should be the "accountant". I'm pretty sure that money is one of those Big Things people argue about. Having no head for math, I was happy to turn it over.

You've already made the biggest, hardest step! Good luck!

Okay, just totally choked up!! Thanks for sharing this and congratulations!

Eeeekkk....not sure! I didn't even think of that!! What about chocolate flavored Cool Whip? Or eating it with Skinny Cow ice cream?

HOWEVER I find that pilates helps tone and lengthen your stomach muscles and build a strong core. they've also found that participants on a diet who took fish oil every day lost more abdominal fat than those on the same diet that didnt I HOPE this is true! I just started on Fish Oil because I read that it is good in…

If you look at the Women's Health Magazine website (www.womenshealthmag.com) they always have a section called the AbsDiet. They recommend food, exercise, etc. Good luck! I know my #1 goal is a flat stomach, so I hear you!

Hahaha, amen. I looked it up online- it looks like you can get sugar free cake mix in the aisle where they have diabetic foods. I know one brand that my grandma and grandpa used is 50/50. It also looks like Pillsbury makes a Devil's Food sugar-free cake mix.

So it says that you can pour it straight into the crock pot- so you don't need a bake pan? (which would be good because I don't have one!)

Thank you! Great advice.

Baby Carrots with salsa for a dip! I've also heard of people carrying around packets of nuts, like emilyajones said.

Hi Janet! To be honest, I think you should just stick with what works for you. Discomfort is one thing but pain is not normal. If you are getting enough water, are warmed up properly, and feeling loose and it still hurts, maybe you should just hop on that treadmill and crank it out knowing you won't be hurting so much?…

Ugh, that's awful! Have you thought about weaning yourself off, and instead of quitting cold turkey, maybe switching from coffee to just tea and working down from there? Especially with tea there are so many health benefits that it would outweigh the small amount of caffeine. Honest Tea, a bottled tea, has many good…

This one is good! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/09/quick-marinara-sauce.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+weightwatcherspointsrecipes+%28Gina%27s+Skinny+Recipes%29&utm_content=Google+Reader

In the spirit of working on meals: lunch today was an egg scrambled with two slices of (low sodium!) turkey bacon, a chopped yellow pepper, cayenne and cumin; this business was served on two Mission low-carb whole wheat tortillas with a serving of roasted tomato salsa on top. Needed more cayenne (read: salt), but it was…

THAT is a good idea, too! It kind of goes with what I was thinking before- the whole "big flavor" thing maybe tricking your body (mind?) into feeling satisfied without stuffing yourself. Have I heard that theory before or did I make it up? Both are possible!

THANK YOU so much for all of these tips. Can I get that recipe for the homemade granola bars??? I've been officially back on the diet for about two weeks. You're probably right- it's just a matter of adjusting. My mom, a dietician, always says, "Sometimes, when you're trying to lose weight, you're just going to be hungry."…

From my juicing experience, you can put any veggie in there (kale, carrot, spinach, etc.) and as long as you put an apple in there, it tastes sweet!

Skinnytaste stuffed shells: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2009/01/spinach-stuffed-shells-with-meat-sauce.html#more Right now I have some of these frozen in my freezer. These are nice because you can pull them out of the freezer bag a few at a time and heat them up as necessary. I froze mine without the sauce- I would…

I love sliced cheese and Kashi crackers!

I think you'll be okay! It may just be that you're building up regular endurance...which is super hard. I also quit about 2 years ago after smoking for about 7 years. Just take it easy, and like some others have said, you may need a puffer- it sounds like this could be a case of a little sports induced asthma. It's SO hard…

Another option would be to use Better 'N Peanut Butter (low sodium of course!) 100 calories for 2T.

Here's the link to the flatbread pizza, oops! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/09/lavash-flatbread-pizzas.html#more

Hi! I have a few ideas for you: first, if you're worried about the calories from cheese, have you ever tried "real" Italian pizza? Not my favorite because for me pizza is about GREASE and lots of cheese, but I've been to "real" Italian pizza places and they just melt a few balls of fresh moz on them. It's mostly sauce and…
