You can try the supplement - Milk Thistle. The gastro gave me a list of herbs to avoid, but when I asked about Milk Thistle - she said it can help.

I have various Leslie Sansone dvds. LOVE THEM! I started MFP back in September and have lost 60 pounds so far! I have about 10 of her dvds because I like to switch things up. On Monday, Wed, Fri, I do the 1-mile walk in my office before I start work. Then on Tuesday, Thursday, I do a 3-mile and on Saturday I do the 4-mile.…

Ok - not to me, but my sister. She is the youngest of four - the order goes: boy / girl (me)/ boy / girl. So my sister has a scar or injury from each of us siblings. Oldest brother slammed her pinkie finger in the door when she was chasing him - she almost lost the tip of her pinkie. Other brother grabbed one of those old…

They think it's because we like watching the guys in the tight shorts - but we love a good fight (and the tight shorts don't hurt) ! A great come-back or submission is just totally awesome! My son just came home for a couple of weeks (military leave) so I had a bunch of fights saved for him on the DVR. We watched…

Love, love, love MMA! Have been watching UFC and the Ultimate Fighter show since it began! Would love to see a non-title match between Anderson Silva vs. Jon Bones Jones. It's funny - when watching the fights (with my sons who also love MMA) my husband will come in and ask who's fighting - but we don't even bother telling…

I quit drinking pop / soda about 4 years ago. No real reason - I just decided I didn't want it anymore. Don't miss it - don't crave it - feel great!

Steel Magnolias - when Sally Field is at the funeral of her daughter and is saying she wants to know "WHY?!" Legends of the Fall - when Samuel dies, when Isabel II dies The Champ - when Ricky Shroeder is telling the (dead) champ (his dad) to wake up Armageddon - when Ben Affleck tells Bruce Willis he loves him AND when…

The open sores (if he has them inside his mouth & throat) might be hurting him when he eats. Give him sugar-free ice cream pops, even sugar free pudding if he'll eat it. Try not to give him anything to drink that has citrus - it might burn. Try pedialyte too.

Her rendition of the National Anthem...wow!

The sooner they get diagnosed - they can get started on meds to slow the progression. My mother was also diagnosed with early onset. She is 67 right now, and is still ok, but has almost no short-term memory, and has fits of rage with my father who is her caregiver. She still thinks she is able to do a lot of things, but…

I am currently going thru classes for Bariatric surgery. The gastric sleeve is a newer choice that seems much better. After hearing the stories of malabsorption and dumping from the bypass - I decided to get the sleeve. You are left with a stomach about the size of a small banana and have to really watch your portions.…

*The Champ (with Ricky Schroeder when he was like 6yrs old) *Legends of the Fall (when Samuel dies and then Tristan's wife dies - sobbed in the movie theater - still do) *Paid in Full (really old black & white movie about two sisters. Can't find it anywhere!)

*The Notebook *Steel Magnolias *Terms of Endearment *Armageddon

Option 3: Gastric sleeve. The Dr. actually removes about 2/3 of your stomach leaving you with a stomach about the size of a small banana. Lap band is a foreign body that your body could reject and it could move or detach inside. Gastic bypass seems pretty extreme and the "dumping" syndrome doesn't sound like fun either. I…
