I guess I still feel that the weight gain is not my fault......I blame it on the medications. So that is why I feel the surgery is for me. My story is a little different. I was taking very strong meds for a while to balance me out.

I am trying this too. I mean I walk here and there, but I do not go to the gym per se. I only lost 6 pounds so far..so I dont know if I qualify as a voice of reason here. I have been doing this for only a week, so I am a newbie. Hopefully I wont have to exercise a lot, becasue it makes me so hungry.

NSImportant, I like your suggestions, thank you so much for them! I am a vegatarian though, so the meat on is out of the questions, but I thought your other suggestions were great. Lets see if I can apply them in real life. That is the hardest part of course. We all KNOW what to do, but its about doing it.
