I would love to join in. I joined a different 30 day shred group the other day but I never got started. I would love to start today. I already did a 3 mile run this morning.

I just did a 3.05 mile run in 37:05!!! I only walked for 2 blocks during the run. This is the best I have done in a long time!! What is everyones pace when you do a run?

I am also planning on doing a Half Marathon on October 3. I will be following Hal Higdon's Novice Plan. I am currently trying to follow his plan for an 8K which I am training for. So even if the arc trainer is picking up my constant heart rate I should rely more on my actual HRM because it has more personal data entered? I just want to be sure that I am understanding you correctly. I really appreciate your feedback.

I just started training for a half marathon yesterday. It is scheduled for mid-september. I have only done 2 - 5K's in the past and have another one in 12 days!! I believe that I staying on my training schedule I will be prepared for the half marathon come september.

I think that is great that you get on the bike even for a low intensity workout. I have always felt something is better than nothing!

I am so glad to see so many people on board. Today was extremely busy but I did get an hour workout in at the gym. I will be back on tomorrow afternoon after a long day of teaching, staff meeting, and a good workout to respond to all of your stories.
