Some people may disagree, but isn't important what place you get, but the fact that you completed a goal. Remember, the slow turtle that wins the race?

You go to goals and change it to the way MFP has it set or custom for individualized custom settings and remember to save/confirm.

Try buying one of the gummy chewables multivitamin vs a horse pill. Much easier to swallow. They are not just for children!

I wash my hair every other day. Washing it too much dries it out. After a sweaty workout, you could just rinse it, but not wash it.

I tried it. Had very minimal weight loss results and I was eating right and not pigging out and expecting to lose weight. It can be difficult to remember to sprinkle your food with Sensa. After the trial, Sensa is very expensive! I would recommend a gym membership instead. Save your money.

I have had chronic fatigue syndrome/Epstein-Barr Virus since I was 14. I am 38 now. My fitness is generally the treadmill, walking outside, or stationary bike. I am planning on getting back into Zumba classes soon.

I would say about every 15-20 lbs would be a size lower. Though it may be lower, like every ten pounds for some. People have different body types and clothing brands can differ in sizes.

I just started the zig zag or calorie cycling a week ago. I lost a few pounds in first few days of getting back on MFP. Then despite staying under my calorie goal and exercising 5-6 days a week, I was losing nothing. Then it appears to be working well with the day to day change in calories. Time will tell, but I lost 1.7…

I started putting tuna and natural almonds and it tastes great!

You make an excellent point and I totally agree!

I would count any activity over 15 minutes that raises your heart rate should be counted. But it is at every person's discretion how they log food or exercise.
-
How do some of you do an hour of kettle bells? My muscles get tired after doing 15 minutes! I guess it would depend on the weight. Mine is 10 lbs.
-
Try doing at least 5 intervals at a higher rate of speed where your heart rate is near the max or try doing very intense higher speed sprints as fast as you can tolerate not a long duration like 30 seconds-1 minute. A lot of treadmills have a interval mode, which is HIIT. Instead of a lot of jogging, you could try doing…

Some machines don't input height or weight, so I would go with the HRM if it is a reliable brand.

I got one on eBay and had to return it. It was used and the only way to reset it is to send it to the company and pay $20 to reset it for a new user. The site that your info is uploaded to seems generic and I have heard that the battery is not replaceable and I believe that are accessory parts and extra fees to get full…

I have had the symptoms before and turned out not to be pregnant. Get tested.

Thanks for the encouragement. I guess what I have lost is in the healthy weight loss range. I have lost 4-6 lbs in a week before (thru diet) so that sticks out in my mind. I am sticking with it as it makes me feel better to be more active and the weight loss or inches loss will come in time. This eating more, weigh less is…

Guys do lose more than women, but I would not put myself under the stress of losing so much weight by such date. Just do your best . If you don't reach that, just keep it up after the month is over. I am sure you didn't gain it in one month, so don't expect to lose it in one month.

Add granola to it.

I bought a bottle a few weeks ago and have noticed no difference. I would save your money.

My sister said she stopped using whey on a daily basis because it made her constipated. I have some whey, but use it randomly.

I increased mine a few days ago from 1800 to 2100-2300. I am exercising 5+ days a week and had only lost 3.3 lbs in over 3 weeks. It is a work in progress and I am finding it difficult to meet these calories. I am forcing myself to eat more, even if I don't feel that hungry in order to jump start my metabolism. My TDEE is…

I will have to try it. The everyday routine of staying under my calories and working out five times a week is not yielding much weight loss for me.
-
As others have said losing 5 lbs a week would be difficult unless you are doing a biggest loser type workout and spending hours a day in the gym. I would recommend trying to lose maybe like 15- 20 lbs over the summer. That should take you down at least one size. But, you should talk to your doctor and see what he/she…

I just got the FT7 about a week ago and love it!

I do a HIIT workout on the treadmill where there are intervals of slower speed when heart rate slows down and high intensity intervals where you are almost out of breath and unable to carry a conversation. Because the workout is more strenuous, you get more out of a workout in shorter time. Thirty minutes max as compared…

I would continue doing your workouts. You are paying rent and have the right to do your workouts during day hours. Your workouts are relatively short. You might want to talk to your landlord and alert her of the situation, but they cannot stop you from working out at a reasonable time and duration within your own…

I would guestimate and do quick add calories to put it in. Pizza is always high in calories and fat.

I have lost 5-6 lbs in my first week before. It will even out, but I would not expect more than 1-2 lbs per week.
